Ok subbed. Retired Nov. 2017. 63. Work be poor or retire early m b poor. Lol. Summer 2018 my adult daughter showed me Babymetal and I've been happier person for the last five and a half years. I have once or twice preferred to them as my other granddaughters. My music soul was reborn. These Ladies led me to Band-Maid, Mary's Blood and Lovebites. Then I found about a dozen more all female rock/metal Japanese bands. Life is good.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。My first impression was "too short and too much vocal effects on Moa / Momoko voices", so I was a little bit disappointed by this performance. But later I noticed that this performance was the necessary sequel of this song. As you know, we heard the first unfinished version of this arrangement in "The One - Stairway To Living Legend" that made their adieu to Metal Resistance, in other words BM's past. The first version included backing vocal by Moa only. The current version includes two voices by Moametal and Momometal. That is the explicit announcement of the new BM towards their fanbase, The One. So we should be the new The One. I discovered BM in July 2019 so I did not have real-time experience with original three girls. What I encountered for the first time was grownup BABYMETAL who were struggling in search of what was right to do for them and for their fans. By looking at this sequel and listening two harmonized voices including new 3rd girl several times, my impression has changed. BABYMETAL have finally got the complete form after some painful transition. We have to celebrate them.

When they released this a few days ago they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour, first at Leeds, then London and a couple of days ago was Cardiff, today is Glasgow turn finishing the UK leg, everyone is having a blast with these, so far all the sets were different and yesterday they surprised everyone with the dance choreo for METAL KINGDOM in the middle of the set. I hope you can get the chance to see them live in the US, i already saw a couple of reactors going to see them at the Babyklok Tour. This is the same version we heard at "The One - Stairway To Living Legend " in 2021 when they went on hiatus sealing the group officially and thanking all of us, The One. This one is like a short version of that, hence the "Unfinished Version" title, so i highly suggest you to check it out that version to understand the context if you didn't. I was rooting for Momoko too when she was competing at that survival show, thanks Mnet. We're so proud of her now becoming a superlady, this is actually the second time she's in an official MV as MomoMetal, the first one was in Mirror Mirror.🍑❤️ Thanks Donuts for sharing this. I was at Black Night/Clear Night and the difference having the third voice made was just "Wow!" No disrespect to Moa who held it down for five years, but two voices on the harmonies just sounds so much richer than one voice.

The most amazing part, is that it was sung entirely in English.

Nice reaction. Also, Nice add on of the info about Babymetal. I am one of those fans that wanted Momoko to be the third member. Been a metal and rock fan for let's just say a long long time. This might be one of the first times someone earned their way onto a band. When the avengers first started out with Babymetal all three of them had some trouble keeping up with mentor Moa and Su. During shows after one or two songs they would be very winded. Felt bad for them. They were going all on that stage. And Moa looked like she just starting to warm up. When Moa said she focused on dancing more after Yui left. She wasn't kidding. The jump in her dance skill level was noticeable. With this in mind I watched the avenger dancers. But one by one they dropped out. Riho releasing her own Jpop album. She is a good singer herself. Kano became a founding member of @1five. And they released an album. Kano only did the shows in Japan. Which made me think they already knew she was going to leave. But as Riho and Kano left. Momoko stayed and every show got better and better. And for me a big part of wanting her to become part of Babymetal was she looked like she wanted to. Momoko seemed so very happy to be there. That when Babymetal took their break I felt she would be back when they come back. But then she appeared on the Kpop competition. And I was like oh man they lost a good one. I felt bad when she didn't win. But I gotta say hope was rekindled. As Babymetal released snippets of their new album. I kept listening for a new voice on it. and then they started releasing songs with Su and Moa images but no Momoko. I started to feel they lost her again. But then I thought well new album, new tour. This is Babymetal after all. One of the greatest live acts ever. They must tour and once again without hearing any news on Momoko doing work with anyone else. I was rooting for her to at least be back as an avenger dance with two others or maybe just her and they continue on as before. I thought the longer that goes on. the better chance of Momoko becoming a member. Momoko came through like a champion. When they announced Momoko is now Momometal. It was very exciting. Now watching them all perform live. You can clearly see how happy she is there and how amazingly in synch they all are. Now I just wonder how long it's going to take for Moa to be Moa and go off script. You just have to love her. Moa and Momoko get to sing together. Su finally got her chocolate. And it's M&M's. Babymetal everything you want in music and somethings you didn't know you needed.

I have that issue of Rock Sound magazine from 2016 that Moametal held up 😊

I like this much more than some of their other music. Their music is good, but it doesn't always hit my ear right. It's a matter of persoanl preference I know, but the piano and the strings bring out the poignancy of this song so much more.

The only thing that would have made this better is if Momoko still had her buns :) I miss the unique Momobuns look

The first take of monochrome is even wayyyy better and emotional than this one.
