The Thai line is so cute, especially with Lisa Unnie. I love how Pharita is helping Chiquita learn Korean, and also how it is different from when Lisa was a trainee, when she was basically forced to speak only Korean. Props to YG for using Lisa's input on the trauma and difficulties she had, to be a building block for new trainee's growth. I have to complement Chiquita on her Korean, it is not perfect, but for only a year in (when the Lisa meet happened) and two years now, she has good pronunciation and vocabulary. Compared to many overseas born Koreans that the family speaks Korean with them, she is better than most that have been brought up around it. Interestingly, Lisa asked Chiquita her nickname (stage name) but when they were talking casually, she called her by Canny, her birth name.

The significance if you didn't catch it is that Chiquita and Pharita are both Thai trainees in YG Entertainment. Lisa is not only their idol, she is their sunbaenim (senior artist) in this industry. Lisa is also Thai, and is actually the first non-ethnically Korean idol in YG Entertainment's history of their trainee system. She is who inspired them to train to be K-Pop idols, because never before has a Thai K-Pop idol amassed global influence on the scale she has (e.g. the 39th most followed person in the world on Instagram), billions of streams, etc. Pharita and this sweetheart, Chiquita, being both Thai, are Lisa's influence, inspiration and impact in human form. 🥰
