It’s a story about how I struggled growing up inside a real-life living hell in a tiny room in the Philippines. My whole life, I’ve been trying to escape my childhood trauma, my living hell, and no matter how much therapy I do, no matter how much medicine I take, and no matter how far I try to run away…it always comes back to haunt me. The music video is inspired by my childhood room. My room was yellow and had a lock on the outside. Yellow because it was a color I was forced to like growing up. It was my parents way of letting me know that they have the power in the house. And a lock on the outside because my parents wanted to make sure that I didn’t escape when I was in there. It was really hard for me to relive this while shooting the music video. I really want to talk to you more about it when I’m ready. Sorry for the essay the reason I’m writing this because I want all of you who are reading this and all of you who have supported me along this journey to understand that I love you more than you know. Some quick facts about Bella she is Filipina and lived in the Philippines until she was 14. Bella also served in the NAVY as an aviation ordnanceman for 4 years (joined the NAVY at 17). Bella is now 25 years old. Bella first recieved fame after going viral on TIK TOK for a video she posted lip-syncing to with over 58 million likes now to a song called "M to the B" by Millie B. Bella Poarch currently holds the record for the MOST LIKED TIK TOK video ever on that platform. Moreover, this song actually has a backstory like most of her songs do so far. This specific song is actually referring to her traumatic past from her childhood growing up in the Philippines and what her adoptive parents did to her (abuse and neglect)towards her and her brother. She actually pinned a comment she made explaining what this MV and SONG meant to her in the original video. Her life story is so saddening to hear (which she was interviewed for too if you wanna learn more about her) but so many people have been supporting her and she just got into fame recently since August 2020 and we love her already....most of her songs so far reflect her life and things she has gone through which is why I love her so much for her authenticity and realness. She is talented and so raw.

She went thru a living hell when she was younger due to her adopted parents and the yellow represents her bedroom when she was younger coz it was very yellow.
