V is such a deep thinker. People tend to notice his visuals first, but he has much more which surprises me every time. I still have a lot to discover about him and learn from him. Just look at these lyrics, his feelings.. He already said he had a burnout in the press conference, I remember those times, he would come to Weverse to get some love and support. He looks much happier these days, I hope he will always be. I didn't really talk about song since eveyone already mentioned but ofc it is my fav song of the album. Thanks for the reaction :)

Blue & Grey - V is the main songwriter, composer, & producer on this song. it was originally for his mixtape This is my favourite one in the Be album. V wrote this song when he was suffering from burnout and possibly depression. He said this a couple of times, I also think that’s why the members wrote such moving messages to him on the rolling paper during the fiesta. Makes this song even more emotional. Blue and Grey is A song expressing sad, anxiety , disorder and depression which are usually shown through ' Blue and Grey' color and that motivated him to write this song.

After listening to this song I can't wait for KTH1 (Kim Taehyung) mixtape! He is an amazing artist and I'm so proud of him 😭💜 I love Tae with all my heart!

Blue&Grey was originally for V's mixtape, and the original lyrics we had taken a look at, were "Where's my angel? I'm sick and tired of everything. Someone come and save myself, cus I can't do it anymore. Everywhere I go, everywhere I see, can you look at me cus I'm blue and grey? Everytime I cry, everytime I smile, can you look at me cus I'm blue and grey? I just wanna be happier, baby don't you let me go" And it was originally a full english song too- the lyrics of course changed

This is my favourite one in the Be album. We all have depressed feeling inside. And we used to hide what we exactly feel pretending ok. The thing is that we have to face it. I can bring up and heal it listening this beautiful music. How emothional! This song is so touching me. After crying, I guess I'm going to be healed. Thanks V. (who is one of the most talented and beautiful artists.)

Blue & Grey is very meaningful, and I just can't think of the emotions/feelings of Kim Taehyung when he started writing the song. You can feel pain, depression and longing in Blue & Grey that makes listeners get emotional instantly. FACT: V confirmed that for his KTH1 mistape Blue & Grey is in Full English but since the members wants it to be be part of the Album he and the team worked on the Korean version. I can't just imagine if this was part of his mixtape and its in full english!!

This is my fav song, partly because V wrote and produced it. I first heard this song (well part if it) in "In the soop". V was on the canoe at sunset on his own. The lyrics broke my heart and I just wanted to reach out and hug him. I am glad its in the album and every one sang with him and its not as dark but still....this shows once again that they are just human! They can go through low's and hardships too. Its a low register song and Jimin said he found it hard to sing it...but they all did so well 💜 V's voice has no comparisons! I love him! 💜

Fortunately, despite the very recent release of the album, there is already a lot of information documented, thanks to the transparency of BTS with their fans and their ability to give and share during the writing process, in their shows and interviews and their texts of course... Here is what I found formal on this track and that will allow you to put this song in perspective... but I invite everyone to freely appropriate the text in order to find comfort what I did myself, but this part I kept it for myself: « Blue & Grey » - written and composed by V, RM, Suga, JHope, Hiss Noise, Ji Soo Park, Levi and Metaphor - is a guitar ballad that tells the story an artist’s burn-out. I feel like RM’s part fit perfectly because it feels like a moment of frustration or dissatisfaction that he tries to get across with a more powerful tone. I don’t know if that is what was intended, but that was my impression.

My favorite song in BE album V blue and grey, relate to me and it’s true after going through depression and you found something that makes you happy it’s an achievement. It’s not easy without your family and friends support. This year was the loneliest year and the most difficult that happened around the world. Now because of V i’m happy, thanks V for coming to my life, your music calms me.

This is my favorite song of the album , in a recent video one of the producer of the song name Nive , a Taehyung’s friend, explains that in the instrumental part he use a sone imitate the heartbeat, and how they use a variety of different instruments. This song is a masterpiece and I am very happy that Taehyung has surrounded himself with people with great talent, I hope a lot from his future mixtape because I know how talented and creative he is.

Not sure if I find rights words to express, but some other reactors pointed out that RM part was rising up, but then JK came in and pushed it all back down. You can take RM part as your feelings boiling up, being frustrated, almost lashing out at people, at yourself, but then JK part kinda sooths it down, if that makes sense.

Just a thought...I feel like RM's part is showing the frustration of living with those feelings V was expressing. So, a little more aggression, a little bit of anger, even. I have a son who suffers anxiety/depression and he will be like that once in a while. He says you just get tired of it all.

My interpretation of RM's part is more of a reassurance so it's like a break from the whole melancholy of the song

I feel that RM's was a cathartic moment for the song. Before that, it was a relentless period of breathing in and holding your breath. It was during RM's part that we get to exhale or let it all out or let go of all our worries and anxieties, and then after that we get to calm down and just rest. The structure of the song is really apt in representing the feeling of sadness or depression.

i would hve agreed with the thing where rm's verse felt a bit out. but aftr hearing it multiple times i see his verse as another way of sadness/anxiety/depression,,,like a little aggressive side which mny ppl feel,,a lil sarcastic,,finding connection in dark nd dull things...like rm connected his feeling with dust. so it gave a good dimension to the song for me and kinda lifted it up with his tone? nd i really dislike complete sad songs so maybe thts y too...anyways thnku for ur honest reactions as always! luved hearing ur thoughts!

You are first one talking about postponed release of JK and V mixtapes. JK didn´t say he would even release his mixtape this year and all ARMY thinks V release it on his birthday... So I don´t know what I missed...

The instrumental part in the end is actually the co-procucers voice, his name is NIve, he talked about it on his channel. I loved that part so much, it's such a unique sound

Ofc this is my favourite track from Be. Not only because it was written, composed and produced by Taehyung. Not only because I can relate to the depression. Not only because it's critically acclaimed. But also because the story it paints is just such a hopeful one that we need especially during these times we're all going through. And YES I CAN'T WAIT FOR KTH1!!!!! Ps. The part Joonie mentioned I believe wraps up Yoonie and Hobi's parts where the two each picked a color to emphasize. Joonie was just expressing what is needed to turn it all around.

This song is very special to me. V said in the interview on Weverse V: I wrote “Blue & Grey” when I was at my lowest point, when I was actually asking whether I could keep going with my work or not.
