This was basically the Frog Leap band. They were in the studio together for this video and to warm up for the tour that was getting ready to start. Just before everything got shut down.
Man Leo is always on point. And he always has his daughter involved. She always seems to be having a great time. So i feel Leo isnt only a great performer, hes a great dad.
Hated the original 100%! Loved the frog leap studios version 100,000%! Leo, Hanna and Rabea make EVERYTHING better... Even with pig guy and monkey puppets. Lol Thanks for watching this, awesome!
Hannah and Rabea just celebrated their like.....9 yr anniversary I think. Saw it somewhere after watching their newest video with Leo, a Cold Play tribute which is AWESOME. Her first verse OSN will give you a new thought of just how good Hannah is.
I've seen this video eleventeen times (that's a lot), and until you mentioned it, I never noticed the pig head person. It's probably b/c most of my attention was on what Hannah was doing.😍
Absolutely love Leo! First time I ever heard him was the Sound Garden cover Black Hole Sun. He always gives props to people who join him, and that's a testament to his character. I think I have a man crush.. oh well.
The vocal stylings Hanna is using sounded familiar, but I couldn't come up with it the first time through. Just a touch of Amy Winehouse in the soul groove.
Like Leo, Rabea is a multi instrumentalist. He started life as a drummer but a knee injury steered him over to guitar although he still plays the drums and if you watch the Frog Leap Live Tour videos you will see him swap places with the drummer occasionally and you can see him drumming on his own channel
Just found your page today and been binge watching..... An absolutely amazing song I found recently is Grai In the Arms of Mara A reaction to the official video would be awesome.
The other players in the video also often tour as part of the Frogleap band. I believe that pig mask is the same man who sings with Leo on the "Carry on my Wayward Son" cover.
I really think that putting in the "Ook Ook" from down with the sickness would fit sooooooo wonderfully in this version of the song. Oh, and check out his "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" cover. The outro again hints at an even cooler song.
her voice compliments leos voice. you should also check out sultans of swing with mary spender. her voice also is incredible, and compliments leos singing too.
Not even joking even remotely but if you didn't fall into the insanity that was 'Let it go' from Frozen.. skip it and watch Leo's version. It is how I found Leo!
Rabea, is spelled like this , because it´s meant to sound like the Spanish word for anger and also rabies, as in an animal (both senses apply)... The stress is in the A...
You should react to "Queen - Love of my Life (Live in Rock in Rio 1985)" Or Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge - É isso Aí" Honestly, if you react to anything related to Brazil, brazilians come watch and you have the best viewing numbers ever!! LOL Oh, and Rabea also plays the drums on tour sometimes too.
Something completely different: Also a cover version metal style but from a classical piece of music, Gustav Holst`s "Planets". There is a guy, Joe Parish, who does an amazing job in transforming orchestra music into metal. Check out "Jupiter" or "Uranus". If you want some really hard stuff, try "Mars"! That guy is a genius! And if you want to hear something completely insane try his "Shostakovich 10 Mvmt. II - Metal". I just did. .....!
Hey man I wouldn't think twice about getting into Leo's van for his free candy. Lol but thats not the topic here.. If you haven't already, check out Leo's cover of Kansas- carry on my wayward son
@@OldSkuleNerd ... wierd.. I have been nerding RU-vid for like 2 hours, and it did not even show up until now when you answered 🤣 Weeell. "See you over there" 😜
Dude, I’m totally disappointed that you didn’t say anything about the fact that Leo’s outro even says Rabea’s name after you were just talking about it at the beginning of your show, I mean was that pure coincidence or did you already know that and it was a set up. If was genuine then how could you miss it. You call yourself a nerd which implies your smart but I guess in this case…no. Total let down but I like how you rock out to it so it kinda makes up for it. Anyway, keep rockin🤘🤘
it's cause that damn pig mask is like half human, so it REALLY hits that uncanny valley effect on people. Because it doesn't quite look like one or the other and it's just.... ugh lol
If you ever get a chance to watch the original music video for Dance Monkey, the song is very club-oriented but the video is actually kind of funny and does not go in the typical club direction you would expect.
