I mean, canonically, both universes have been stated to be infinite on multiple occasions. And they didn't get into dimensional scaling.

​@voidtempering8700 They did address the infinite universes thing in a tab, though they didn't count it because pretty much all storyline-based evidence points to both universe being finite. Death Battle also generally doesn't do Dimensional Scaling/Tiering because it doesn't track across fictional cosmologies, has never aligned with author intent, and (they feel) is a very cheap way to determine a matchup. They do use interior dimensional scaling if the story addresses it specifically, though (there's a tab talking about that for the Worldforger).

@@LittleZbot What storyline based evidence points to the Dragonball universe being infinite? There are multiple written books that state that the Dragonball Universe is infinite, and even has higher dimensions. Also, Dimensional tiering is used in a way where it does fit cross-verse battles.

@@voidtempering8700 To be clear, this is saying that individual Dragon Ball universes are finite; the story clearly states that the infinite void and null space are both infinite, so every individual Dragon Ball timeline is still infinite in scope. But there are tons of times where characters reach or talk about the "edge of the universe," the visual diorama of the universe shows it as finite, many characters without infinite speeds (like base form manga Zamasu) regularly traverse the diameter of universes, and regular humans have perceived and comprehended the full size of a universe. Regardless of guidebooks, every single time the story itself (which is what Death Battle prioritizes over statements and guidebooks) interacts with the scope of a single universe, it is clearly finite. As for Dimensional Tiering, THAT debate has raged on ever since the concept was first invented. But the bottom line is that Death Battle doesn't use it, so when watching one of their episodes, you just have to accept that.

I'm ok with Superman winning. Don't get me wrong, I am sad because I would've preferred a Goku win, but regardless: the fight, the track, the dialogues, the ending and the next time were PEAK.

At which point does Omniman look like he could survive anything more than Superman spitting on him full power?!? And even that's debatable btw
