Basically what happened was Over the course of this fight guts has been getting Impaled by ice shards Electrocuted, Stabbed multiple times in the body and If you remember the berzerk Armor isn't Healing him its forcing his body to stay together Meaning when his arm twisted back into place After that ice spear He was basically on a ticking clock Because that ice javelin basically ripped a huge hole where his arm was Meaning that blood was just running freely , The armor was basically the only thing holding him together And after dimitri hid him with that Armor bypassing attack He took a lethal amount of damage that he couldn't come back from , In my opinion I think it was just guts will And the berzerk armor That forced him to get to his feet But he ran out of blood and if you remember The armor will keep the user alive until they've bled at their last drop of blood
At the end of the fight, when Dimitri pulled Areadbhar from Guts's chest, the lance's blade was clean. Guts basically didn't have any blood left in his body. Those final few seconds where Guts nearly landed a killing blow were all he had left in him.
I think MATE figured it out during the post analysis, but for anyone who still doesn’t understand what happened at the end there… From what I can gather, Dimitri used the Seal Movement ability to stop Guts in his tracks, and it lasted JUST long enough for Guts to run out of blood, and die standing in place
Considering Dimitri very clearly tried to block the attack in a panic and was then surprised that Guts is still standing after dying, it's pretty damn obvious that Guts simply ran out of juice and died before he finished the attack. Dimitri didn't use Seal Movement. I know nothing about Fire Emblem but I'm sure Seal Movement would've had *some* kind of visual effect.
If you go back and watch the last couple attacks Dimitri did to Guts there was barely any blood, and the Demon armor requires blood to fuel it without the blood he dies and it consumes his soul if i understood how the demon armor works correctly.
@@Suzukari Silver Surfer. Matches Manhunter in stats (if not straight up outclasses him), counters and/or resists just about everything Manhunter has, has numerous hax that Manhunter can't do anything about, and his cosmic vision prevents Manhunter from catching him off guard.
They didn't reference "Guts fight things stronger than himself every day". 0/10 Jokes aside, it was a damn good episode, and even the analysis was a mild improvement for actually going over Guts as a character more. As for next time, I honestly wasn't expecting another Marvel vs DC episode this soon, but maybe that's just how the production turned out, so I'm not worried about this being a season 7 sequel. Well, not yet...
So we had 3 returning fighters in the last 3 episodes: Darth Vader, Raven and Guts. Darth Vader lost both fights Raven won both her fights Guts won one and lost one
I'd say this is my new favorite episode of the season,if it weren't for the fact that Chosenborn gives it some really good competition. It's definitely in my top 10 of all time, and maybe top 5 if I end preferring this over Chosenborn.
How do these Fire Emblem-based DB suggestions sound? - Marth vs Aragorn (Lord of the Rings) - Robin vs Commander Shepard (Mass Effect) - Lucina vs John Connor/T-3000 (Terminator) - Corrin vs Noah (Xenoblade) - Byleth vs Prince of Persia (Ubisoft) - Edelgard vs Satsuki (Kill la Kill)
Lucina apparently has Grovyle as her most wanted opponent. In fact, season 10 has given us two easter eggs about this MU, during Misaka's and Dimitri's analysis parts. Nothing against John Connor MU though. Edelgard has a LOT of suitable MU ideas and yeah, Satsuki is among the best ones. Others include Kylo Ren, Kuvira, Daenerys and Lelouch. And that Robin vs. Shephard is actually pretty clever MU idea.
Epic episode. Guts dying on his feet was badass and mah boi Dimitri won. 10/10 Next time i am excited but i feel they should do a rule where between the same series facing one another they should have 3 episodes before doing said series against one another again Still MM vs SS is alright. Rooting Martian Manhunter JUST because he is a Sailor Moon fan
I like both but I am more Team Marvel, but I have to support the Manhunter JUST for him being a fan of Sailor Moon. Then again the Surfer met Hank Hill.
@@supraknightly27I like Martian Manhunter as well and prefer DC over Marvel. MM is a far more interesting character than Silver Surfer. However Surfer is gonna stomp the hell out of him. The Silver Surfer in terms of power can do almost anything if writing right. I’m talking Telepathy, matter manipulation, energy manipulation, intangibility, Super Strength, Super Speed, Invulnerability etc. The Surfer has even fought powerful telepaths and was extremely resilient to them. The Silver loses a lot because of plot armor though.
Prefer Marvel, but I'm rooting for MM as well. While I like both, and my exposure to them are roughly even, I just felt more sorry for him(JL:Two Worlds is great).
HARDCORE. Guts vs Dimitri is in the top 3 along with Chosen Undead and Darth Vader vs Obito. And it is contending with Vader vs Obito for my favorite of Season 10.
I'm actually baffled now: I'm not sure which zodiac symbol is representing this episode unless it's the clashing swords icon we see during 11:28(where Lucina vs. Grovyle easter egg also lies) and we've been completely wrong about Skyrim vs. Dark Souls. Or this episode's symbol is hidden somewhere VERY well this time around. I dunno anymore. I've searched EVERYWHERE from both Skyrim vs. Dark Souls and Guts vs. Dimitri to see any other symbols. And before ya ask, no, I do not believe the pentagram seen in Guts' analysis is the one because the one seen in Misaka's analysis was way more prominent.
