I just checked the original video and is now has an English subtitle. The lyrics is good. Dimash is like a voice in the wilderness shouting for peace.

Dimash wrote this song himself mostly in one evening. He told a Chinese lyricist what he wanted to say. Until the digital concert this song had only be sung in his concerts in China and Russia. I prefer his mid range sings to and one that is beautifully melodic is Couldn't Leave. Unfortunately most of the reactors go for the vocal gymnastics only so a a reactor who actually appreciates the music will be a treasure indeed. Btw all of the songs on Di's channel do have subtitles but they may appear a few hours after the song has been uploaded.

I love the contrast and tension in this song. It's as if the instrumental represents war, and his voice and mannerisms represent peace. The lyrics are powerful and beautiful, and the music, which Dimash composed, is gorgeously textured and suspenseful. It's a masterpiece, IMO, and Dimash's performance of it breaks my heart every time. I'm so glad it's finally getting more attention with this release.

I completely agree with you about not always needing to know the lyrics to a song. Sometimes it is just great to let your own imagination and interpretation run free. Also, it's not as if there are subtitles during a live concert and I certainly enjoy listening to new songs live without knowing what they are about.

The more I listen to this song the more I appreciate this composition. Actually two of my favorites are this and Unforgettable Day, which he composed as well. Another of his originals that I believe he only sung once is Okanish, and it's gorgeous. It's my sincere hope that he composes more often once he finishes school.

Dimash himself composed this in 2017 for his master's thesis. Also the lyrics are initially from him. He hired a Chinese poet to write them in Chinese according to his wishes. I really recommend to see the lyrics, they are so poetic and meaningful. Dimash's channel has now the subs to this song in many languages. :)
