I saw in you previous video that you are a millennial :). As such, my humble opinion is that you should check out 2 important bands, Evergrey and Dimmu Borgir. Totally different stiles but I'd like to see the reaction to the progressive nature of Evergrey Weightless and Dimmu Borgir Gateways (official video with captions on) the latter being a beautiful mix of disturbing image and existential nihilism in a symphonic black metal package. Best of wishes in your youtube endeavor, sub from me.

Somehow, in some way, their music is not screams, shouts, noise, or bits... Its not just metal, rnr, etc. .... It's subtle and deep connecting power. It's a different spiritual level. Really. Maybe it's just me, but few songs from other musicians create this feeling to me..... They say that other bands do play harder, faster, better. It just doesn't matter.

How awesome is it to see that dawning realisation in someone that metal is felt in the soul. Like many of us who first got our taste of metal glory in the 80's and early 90's, these millenials do have the capacity to become metal heads. Here's hoping slanzzy picks up that cudgel and carries this tradition forward.

Benjamin Sartori don’t forget, a lot of us millennials were born in the early 80s like myself. Metal was still pretty popular when I was going thru high school but it was on the downhill slope at that point. Metallica was still going strong especially with the Black album. Slipknot, slayer, CoB, and fear factory were still the rage. Music has totally changed now, testosterone is pretty much nonexistent in the music that today’s male teens and 20-somethings listen to. It’s sad.

Metal stereotypes were always greatly exaggerated, especially for a band like Metallica. Their first 3 albums all contained beautiful and powerful music, some songs are gonna be more intense but they always remain very melodic and balanced. The way you appreciated the instruments in the last part of this song tells me you should react to "Metallica - Orion" , it's an instrumental, no vocals, very well crafted and balanced it captures the mind in a similar way that Fade to Black does at the end. Every reaction of that song is amazing and I feel yours would be very interesting as well. Great reactions with an interesting perspective, keep it up! Suggestion: "Metallica - Orion"

Metallica's The Unforgiven - Just as thought provoking as the last two. Also, I never see real, genuine reactions to music (especially metal) anymore. James wrote this at a pretty dark time. Their gear had been stolen and things were just uncertain. To me this song was an optometry, doesn’t glorify suicide but recognizes it as an option, not the best one. It also helped me latter on to understand my mothers suicide. It took many year of anger but I now understand. I don’t agree of course but I understand. Whatever pain she was suffering is over now. I just wish she was here so we could go through it/ experience it together, and work through it. I’m trying, but it isn’t easy.

Worst than capitalism is the failing one for not having any progress plan for the fake overpopulated big cities producing debts and worldwide company products that gives you calories and bad teeth...best political achievement was probably the legalization of Marijuana keeping some states panks into deticated farmers...i wonder if they are tested from government as quality control or only illegal drags are actually tested after they are stolen for giving u penalties or time....now the mask is a new method to fool citizens for a new reason to devide people for health reasons...best comidients are politicians but cannot feel any joy from this only the sad truth of how a democracy wears a mask....give us real democracy to express the common sence acceptable globally and stop doing idiotic statistic analysis for who might be president in next election...either way the are decorative images of ancient time modesty and seriousness polititians are trying to sell us do not fit at all with current aera sencitivity to anything but the real problem... Can all the experts answer to one simple guestion? Is there a possibility of a common sence to exist about all the differences we have due to systemic loop of human consistency to no have a personal opinion to realise where we stand in a local base or state or nationaly and even globally for checking the real opinion and feel a real democracy voting for something simple but first step of final scientific results the experts never seems to give us.i personaly report the luck of interesting news that has nothing to do with damaging the idols the Hollywood produse and choose the type of news you want to learn about like forgoten scandals of the past that really did not damage any career if one considers to not take action but entertain the masses with comedians performing dramatic roles of trying to persuade his self the croud and all the global comunity. And if not political question then a social one...does anyone feel any equality of oportunities on any aspect like supposed to enjoy by law...or should some standards be facts of true honesty to enter a category of build lets say like sportsmen or women can be listed.?and if so is it discrimination for a school chair or job chair to address to sertain builds for orthopedic reasons? More expensive but betteter investment I would say...and i would also use kids to work and be educated at the same time in fine conditions not a factory in China with no safety measures or payment benefits...wouldn't you like graduading and have a certain amount of capital to begin for any investment from your few working time lessons provided from a government?(yet going political instead of using inappropriate terms for discussions over reproductive system parts we carry in shame or not according to the size shape colour one might have instead of avoiding to mention for sympathizing by lying instead of cold facts that stay with you untill death..is like a marriage on birth with a soul taking a body to produse apersonality untill death do em apart must be real connected lolely family

My reaction was much the same when I first heard Fade to Black. Kids killed themselves when they heard the song, kids wrote Metallica letters about how the song saved them. People loved it. I loved it, i still do. When I hear the solo escalate, man dude. It takes me back to some pinché hard days. Each part was an emotion I felt before I tried suicide and when I hear those parts in the solo, I go through them again. At one point, the solo turns(in my mind) where you did it, and you're dying. And you're just alive enough yet to think i want to go back, I can't go back and at the end, it's too late. Goodbye. It hits me hard cause I didn't take those 3 steps though I tried three times. Fade to Black, man that song hits I'm still here, even though my life was miserable for 16 years. I am kinda harsh on the shit but if anyone has problems out there, man. Don't do it. You can't see it, I didn't see it but you gotta keep going. There's people out there that will call into the darkness and keep talking to you till you come out. There are people out there that don't know how much more rich their lives will be with you in it. Just keep going man, people will help.

I'm tough as nails dude and this song breaks tears down my eyes. I have been there so many times. I can honestly say that Metallica has saved my life quite a few times. I have almost tasted death a couple times and Metallica has been there to pull me through it. The way they can tell a story with music notes and melodic and angry vocals is just amazing. Thanks James, Kirk,Lars, Cliff, Jason and Robert.

I need help. Im drowning man. The light I had in my life is dimming. I could check out. Make it look like an over dose. Ive been in a MAT program for a year and a month. Clean off opiods or anything cept bupes from the clinic every 2 weeks. But Im not happy. I am cold in my soul..losing weight aint helping . I have no appetite for food. The thought of it turns me off, so when i feel I need something, its prob food. I just grab a cigarette in its place. Im so fucking alone . I have a grown son and hold down my job and house..but each day is struggle. The only time Im not in all this pain is when I sleep. My sleep isnt good either. I sleep in stages and every night its the same. I dont know man..Im just so dam tired...in and of everything...sorry for all my details, but I dont have anyone that I relate to with this.
