Bo and his girlfriend have actually been together for closer to 10 years now! From what I understand, he's been workshopping this one in the club for a few years now and has apparently described it as "a Drake song if Drake could commit to a long-term relationship". 😂 I don't know anything about Drake, but that cracks me up!

More likely it's just a funny play on the fact that this song was written and recorded around the same time as Inside. This was his first special in five years.

Happy anniversary to you and your wife! Bo isn't married but has a girlfriend. This song is very relatable! This is such a fun song, the song that he's interpolating here is Drakes Controlla song. Also i absolutely agree with the centipede story lmao, those hellspawns are my biggest fear, whenever they slip away and escape i am PARANOID the whole day thinking they would drag me straight down to hell while i'm asleep

I always love to watch people get terrified of these tiny arthropods/insects. My gf is the exact same, she jumps on tables and crawls in corners everytime she sees a spider. And she even works with insects

Happy anniversary to you! 14 years, that's a big deal! The part where you're describing the little fights/talks as "love talk" is so true. Implicit in those moments is the promise that you will continue to be there to HAVE more moments with your partner. Especially the "you owe me a dumpling - I mean it - I won't forget." Means you're going to stick around to collect that dumpling (and have more fights, of course).

They've been together since 2013 but I believe 5 years was referring to how long they have lived together in that house! This was recorded and made at the same time as his Inside album so I believe 2020/2021

My girlfriend will only kill a spider when I'm not home to do it, and I can always tell when that happens because suddenly there's a plate or a cup that she wants me to throw away as well as several things knocked over.

The thing you're talking about with kids we got our kids used to the house being loud and active very early on so now we could be yelling in the hallway outside the room while they're asleep and it doesn't fuck with them not one bit. The only time it affects them is if the house was dead quiet before they went to sleep

Happy anniversary to you both! We’re at 20, we’re happy, but somewhere along the way I adopted the attitude that marriage isn’t successful until 1 person dies - and sometimes not even then lol. I do disagree a bit with the idea that these outakes should be in the album. when you look at the special as a whole its pretty easy to understand why they didnt make it. A handful are a lot of voices layering on each other which comes off as more confusing and chaotic than methodically existential and deep. the rest seem to contradict the theme that the special had. the chicken for example felt too on the nose with its "deep" theme, while also kinda poking fun at you for expecting something deeper and hitting you with a simple "chicken crossed the road". great subversion of expectation and a deep message hidden behind comedy; very bo. unfortunately in the context of "inside" I think the subversion of expectation in that song wouldve clouded the message(s) of the special. very good content worth releasing though so im SUPER glad he released these outtakes.

If I'm going "poo" in the bathroom and my girlfriend needs in there, I will gladly let her in. Because I promise you, that is the last time she asks to come in while I'm going "poo". My only issue after that is her trying to schedule me a doctors appointment with the gastro doctor, thinking there MUST be something wrong with me. : )

I feel bad for the centipede. Spiders and centipedes get a bad rap. If they are around be grateful, they are killing all of the other bugs that you don't want, and don't see.
