GOT7 is so underappreciated I'm so glad you're finally diving into them!!

My Monbebe heart also has love for Got 7 💚🖤 they are my second ult group! I fell in love with the members before I fell in love with their music honestly. They are such crackheads 😂 they are by far one of the most entertaining groups to watch mini series off and crack videos of. They’re also great on variety shows. They have very different personalities but you can tell they’re all close. JB is the leader of the group. His voice and visuals kill me. He originally debuted in 2012 as 1/2 of JJ project after he and jinyoung both took first place in a competition for JYP. He’s grown so much as a person since then and it’s amazing to see. JB isn’t always super confident in himself but he definitely does his best to lead everyone. Jinyoung is a prince who helps to take care of the members but will not hesitate to sass you. He has an incredible voice, especially his falsetto. He’s also an actor. Mark - LA gangster lol he’s lead rapper and oldest of the group. He’s got kinda of a mid tone. He’s also a martial artist and used to do a lot of stunts. He’s known for being kinda shy and quiet at first but also has a bit of a temper. Jackson - lead rapper and can also sing. I never seen someone work so hard in my life. He used to be very goofy and did very well on variety shows but has since calmed that down a lot. He’s very affectionate. Youngjae- has a Golden voice. He’s pretty sweet and comes across as a good boy but can get pulled into shenanigans with the maknae line. He has some of the best reactions and his laugh is a full body one. BamBam- he’s originally from Thailand. He’s basically a prince there now. He’s super expressive and has been playing with his rap tones a bit. He does some singing too. He’s usually involved in shenanigans and being silly with his BFF Yugeom. Yugeom- one hell of a dancer. He won hit the stage. He also has a very unique voice. His laugh is the cutest thing on the planet. He can be kinda shy sometimes. Seems like a gentle giant but likes being involved in joking with the other members. He can be more sensitive. Those are some of my observations from watching them in shows and hard carry/ other mini series. Important notes: JYP doesn’t do nearly enough to promote GOT7 despite their talent and success as a group. They deserve better. Lullaby, Eclipse, and look would be good videos to watch next. Girls, girls, girls is their debut and they are BABIES in the video 😂 Also Monsta X and Got 7 are pretty good friends. Monbebe loves aghase 💚🖤 if I’m not streaming or voting for MX then it’s for Got 7!

Not by the moon is Romeo and Juliet based. Hard Carry is one of the flight log trilogy songs. So fly and never are in that trilogy ( fly first, then hard carry then never ever ) . I recomend lullaby, eclipse, look, You are ( more artsy and really tall about the relationship of the boys together) If you want a theme type song.. then Page ( but do a fan video so you don’t get blocked) .

People will suggest the ultimate guide but it just tells how they got discovered it doesn't really talk about the boys i would suggest 20 reasons to stan got7 in 2020

I feel like got7 really matured with their music, they went from early teenager (debut ) to „rebellious“ (hard carry) to the most recent releases, that are very grown up, idk that’s the vibes I always get but all songs are bops

JJ project (JB & Jinyoung) actually debuted before they debuted with Got7, their debut was in 2012. If you would like to get to know the members and the history of Got7 better you should totally react to ´the ultimate guide to Got7´ by OT7AHGA. I also really recommend the studio choom performances of poison and thursday, the dingo music perfomance of aura and their SBS KPOP-AWARDS 2019 performance of page because these are like dance practices / performances (except for the last one, that was at an award show). These songs are all b-side songs and I personally like a lot of their b-side songs better than their title tracks, just a personal opinion. A fun mv to watch is the music video of teenager and just right. Just right is probably the song that made Got7 popular.

You Calling My Name is my fave newer song of theirs by far! I wholly agree on everything you said with that song. As someone who has seen them perform live every year since they debuted, their stage presence and ability to show ease and fun on stage is one of the most appealing aspects of GOT7 hehe^^ They really know how to have a good time and always give it their all, so I'm excited for you to dive into live perfs and dance practices and such, whenever you do. Since we're in the Christmas season, they have a song called "Miracle" that they released a couple years ago. You'll love the vocals on it. I know you'll get around to them eventually but I can't wait to see your reaction when you react to their first MV's("Girls, Girls, Girls"), especially the cameo appearances that I won't spoil.

They debuted in Jan 2014. Side note MAMAMOO debuted also in 2014 but they debuted in June. They were on alot of music shows at the same time so they got to know each other because of that.

i totally agree. many kpop songs nowadays are so hardcore , heavy that i feel like all of them are the same and as far as i know they are more popular btw nowadays as i can see upbeats music is being appreciated more. but got7 songs are so unique and different. they are full of beautiful lyrics, emotional, many imageries and symbols its like they are just telling you a story. they used to do more upbeat hardcore before but now i love these genres that they are producing specially JJP vers2 omg that album is from heaven

When you check out their dance practices, I recommend the Boyfriend versions - they are hilarious! Also the one for Eclipse directed by Jackson & any part switch versions which are usually complete chaos. Also I would watch more of their bsides which are more of GOT7's real sound as they write most of them. 1 Degree, Page, Poison, Aura, Teenager, Crash & Burn & Thursday are all really good. For title tracks I would go for Eclipse, If You Do & Lullaby.

I recently started my own Got7 spiral and when I first heard You Calling My Name, I honestly didn't think anything could touch it but then I listened to Not By The Moon. The song is soooooooooooooooo beautiful and the visuals of the video really make the song pop even more. This is definitely one of my top 10 songs of the year. I'm so obsessed! I'm glad you're finally getting to know them! I've really enjoyed my journey thus far and I think you will too.

Completely agree with your view about You Calling My Name....GOT7 makes songs that are a breath of fresh air in midst of the loud and cutesy songs that kpop is known for.....but some people are so used to the generic kpop songs that they can’t accept anything else besides the usual.....only if they open up their minds can they realise what a gem this song actually is Thank you for the recognition this song deserves

I love how you just were like "what do I do I liked every song 🤣" let me tell you something about this group, they have this unique style about their songs and choreo that just sticks on you, their songs are different but so good especially their Bsides and their choreo isn't the hard type of choreo but imagery (that goes so good with the song too) type that is so pretty. Also I want you to know that they have another side of them which are their Japanese releases that are different from their Korean type of music, if you want to check it out one day :)

Heh funny you mention attacking your ears in 11:23 because the pseudonym for the producer for Hard Carry (and the rest of the title tracks for the Flight trilogy) is earattack. I'm also in agreement with other comments in watching the Flight trilogy mvs and interstitials together, since there is a story. I'd also suggest watching GOT7 studio/live/stages (they have different names in their channel) where they do sing live, but will also expose you to their b-sides and the different genres the GOT7 members gravitate towards, as they have more involvement in those than their title tracks.

Got7 can be really hit-or-miss for me, personally, just because of my tastes but-- You Calling My Name is a masterpiece, I love it so much.

I totally agree on the rap tone thing. I'm gonna use NCT for example, (because they have a ton of rappers), but if say for instance if Mark and Taeyong had the same rap tone, them switching between each other on a verse would sound boring, so its good they aren't too similar.

HOT7 only create hits, you’ll see. If you want to understand what’s going on in “Hard Carry,” you must watch the “Fly” and “Never Ever” MVs as well and then watch the video they explains everything. The touching trilogy was very well put together. If you don’t care for storylines, just randomly pick songs, you’ll never be disappointed with GOT7, I promise.

Hard Carry actually is part of a trilogy, called Flight Log, composed of 3 trailers and 3 MVs that together tell us a story. So in order, we have Departure Trailer - Fly MV - Turbulence Trailer - Hard Carry MV - Arrival Trailer - Never Ever MV. Even though you already watched Hard Carry, I think you should watch all the Flight Log videos together for a better grasp of the story.
