Glad you learned who 'Mark Wills' is! haha Great to meet ya. Thank you for reacting to our video with Home Free. When we released this song in 1998, it meant so much to hear people's stories and how it touched their lives. So thankful for a new generation to hear this! Appreciate you, man! God Bless you and your message. You are so correct about how TikTok and social media affects us. BE YOURSELF! Love that message
Thanks to you reactors for helping spread good music and messages. And make sure to mention to go to the artists pages to get them the up-ticks they deserve.
What a wonderful smile came over your face when the 2 Downs burst into laughter on the front step. My daughter and granddaughter have both worked with Downs children and both my children had Downs in their mainstream classes and they are the LOVLIEST of people, very special. Nana Karen UK
I love Mark Wills, grew up with him! Cant believe its been over 20 years ago when this song was released. That is his daughter singing with them. Love Home Free!
Dave you didn't rant you spoke from your heart and we were feeling everything you were saying in our hearts! Great Reaction from the WHAT IT IS HOMIE!! Love you Dave and thank you for your wonderful channel and spreading positivity with it!
This song always makes me cry. Kudos to Jennalee for her artistic interpretation in American Sign Language. I've been signing for 44 years. My daughters have Usher's Syndrome. They were born deaf and retinitis pigmentosa was diagnosed when they were 5 yrs and 10 years old. It has taken most of their vision now. When they were young,I would put the speakers face down on the floor so they could feel the music and then sign the songs to them. They gained an appreciation for music. Both took adaptive modern dance. Thank you Dave for your heartfelt comments.
Awesome reaction, Dave! I ordered a couple of shirts from 21 Pineapples after I saw the video the first time. Mark Wills has an awesome voice, and so does his daughter. So proud of Home Free and the way they remind people of the important things in life.
Released July 1998, I was almost 37, married almost 18 years, had 4 sons 12, 15, 16 and 17. Having three in high school and one in middle school. We dealt with some bullying. Mostly a lot of insecurities in the teen years….oh my! Whenever this song came on the radio, the volume got turned up and I told me sons to listen to the words, really listen. I do believe that it did have an impact on them. Sometimes it takes someone else to say what Momma & Daddy are trying to say. Today my “boys” are 36, 39, 40 and 41. They have all grown into respectful and respected men. I’m definitely not saying that they were or are perfect. But it’s music/songs like this that have a massive and long lasting impact. I tear up every time I hear it. ❤️
This song has always made me cry, I’ve definitely lived this song. I’ve always been made fun of for being sick, I was homeless and looked down on… the message of this song is so beautiful. Dave, I love your reactions, you’re always spot on!
One of my all time favorite Mark Wills songs. Came out in 1998. Home Free and Mark sound amazing together. The woman next to Mark is his daughter Macey. She has a beautiful voice too. This song always makes me emotional because I'm almost 50 and have been bullied my whole life including from my own family. And I have a 10 year old daughter who is autistic and she deals with bullying too. This song is so needed right now. Like J-Hope from BTS says in his song Equal Sign "Hate will paralyze your mind, got to see the other side. It cost you nothing to be kind."
the song that had a similar theme was One Voice with billy gilman about self harm. the song with multiple people mouthing the lyrics was Everybody Walking This Land about the divisive culture in our society
I always thought tim would sound great singing a mark wills song. This song was always one of my favorite and imagine my surprise to see this. I think they sound great together
Dave, It's nice to hear people that sing on key and can really dance and keep time and rhythym?!!! I'm glad that GOD won't hold it against us when we don't sing exactly on key, as long as we do things to Please and Honor HIM!!!
Thank you for such a wonderful reaction!! This song never fails to tear me up. 21 Pineapples is the young man’s business, I will be buying a shirt for support and they are so cool! 🤗❤️
Powerful song. I've been bullied in school and by family. But I try to remember, that's not my problem. I I have worked customer service for many years. Yes, I agree, everyone should experience working customer service. We go through a lot. I have so many stories . Thank you
Love your reaction , thats Mark's daughter . Your in customer service , as i am you know no matter what some customers/clients its never enough . Just like a school zone i pass every morning. 8 year kids walking speed limit is 20mph , her in Texas , how many people do you personal believe drive 20 mph . With very young kids walking 5 feet from the road . Think god my kids are grown now but the number is very very low . My point is if everyone had a good home , a car money in the bank equally . Would we all be the same or knowing what you do about your customers some want more because they are better then you . And that this worlds problem . Love your reaction , love listening to you life stories we had some same issues and im glade to know im not alone . Love you brother . We all perfect wings would be great !
Mark Wills was one of the most underappreciated singers of 90's Country. He had some great songs and could do either the traditional style or the more poppy country style. Always really liked his stuff.
I love this song because of the message. This video was a good representation of the bullying that happens daily in some people's lives. I recommend you watch Mark Wills' original video.
From the day the original song came out, I can't get through listening to it without crying my eyes out... Masterpiece By the way, that entire album was amazing. Love Mark Wills
I've been a Mark Wills fan since his first single "Jacobs Ladder" came out. Have even had a few opportunities to work with him and he is as kind and geniune as he appears. This is one of my favorites from him and Home Free has given it life once again. Would love to see you react to more Mark Wills songs! 💞
The fact that you were able to not be over affected by being bullied tells me you had a lot of love and support at home…it’s where it all begins to avoid “making” bullies…and yes…customer service has taught me sooo much about human nature…and working in the food industry really honed my time management skills…the lady singing is Mark’s daughter…I’ve heard he wrote the song for her a long time a go…the 2 kid actors evidently do have their own TikTok accounts…and social media is such a double edge sword..bringing information while establishing unrealistic expectations on boy boys and girls…Thanks for the reaction…🤗
That young lady is Mark Wills daughter...I love this song and used to listen to Mark's music back in the day. Dave, when I was in 8th grade I was bullied so bad I even attempted suicide one day after school. Growing up me, was not always fun
Bullying has always been an issue and social media doesn’t help much. It doesn’t hurt to like somebody’s photo or DM someone sharing a compliment. Stay humble, spread some love, and expect nothing in return ❤
I think the song your talking about is “Everybody Walking This Land”great reaction to a beautiful song. I think the young lady singing with Mark is hi s daughter? Maybe?
This song has always been heartwrenching and thought provoking. I think the sing you're thinking of is Everybody Walkin This Land. And they also did One Voice ft Billy Gilman for mental health awareness 2 years ago. I think you'd like the original video to this song as well. It's hard to believe it's nearly 25 years old. Another Mark Wills song that'll grab you by the emotions is Wish You Were Here. And, yes, once again Home Free has put an important message out in front of people, drawing attention to the bullying that still happens way too often. As always, no egos here. The music, the message are the important part. I'm always glad to hear your thoughts on your reactions. Thank you! ❤
I think you might mean it creates a false idea of perfection or ideal beauty. No one is perfect and that is ok. Get used to that. Stop judging people by impossible standards that can never be achieved. Just be kind. Home Free fully believes this and spreads that love everywhere they can. This is why we love them.
Great reaction & comments, Dave! I don't think anybody knew this was Anti-Bully month. This is a beautiful song with a powerful message & Mark & Home Free made it even more amazing than when Mark originally did it in 1998!🤗&😘from SE Tennessee!😊
I work customer service as well as Alzheimer's units for a long time I will tell you what you said about working customer service and being in service of people is correct because those people can be so cruel the customers can be so cruel and it's heartbreaking especially when something happens that is out of your control I appreciate your reaction to this video I just caught it over a year from a year ago I'm so sorry about not catching it sooner but I do appreciate you
A beautiful collaboration. Mark Wills is a great singer. And then my favorite group Home Free in the background sounds fabulous and heartbreaking. A beautiful song and video with a sad subject and important message. I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers. My father taught me never to show your weakness. So I didn't tell anyone. I let it go and thought I could handle it. But I developed a fear of failure and inferiority complex about it. Fortunately, I had and have very dear family and friends around me, who unconsciously dragged me through it. It was only when I was 57 years old that I went to therapy for it. It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that.
I think most of us in some way know what being bullied is like. I am thankful I no longer worry or have a care about what others may think of me. Being a child of God makes life complete.
I'm not on TikTok, but my understanding from others is the young man and young girl are TikTok celebrities. The song you're thinking of, is Everyone Walking This Land
You're so right. I can't understand, why we have to including kids in school or sports or life! We all are humans. Every person can sometimes need to be included. So...
Sad to mad. The young lady in blue who comes to mark and sings is his daughter, she was bullied when young. October is stop bullies month. Look at the shirt Nate's wearing it has pineapples all over it
So beautiful. We need to show the light to the dark and love to the hate. Be the bigger person. When it comes down to it, WE ALL need love and acceptance. 😊
Awesome reaction Dave. Everything you said is so true. I have worked in the customer service industry for quite some time & it's true that everyone should be exposed to that type of work. If you pay attention to people, you can tell the truly kind & considerate people from the phonies. Keep up the great work.
