Eric Adams should always be mentioned in the top 10 of rock vocalists. Manowar were epic for years.

Eric is one of the best (if not THE best) singer in metal scene, he is famous for so many great things, singing Nessun Dorma (opera in Italy), 40 seconds + long high pitch scream, singing live show for 5 hours and 1 min (got the band second time into the Guinness book of record) etc etc and on top of that he is very very modest guy. Manowar is amazing band "Power" is brutally fast song with sick vocals or "Mountains" beautiful ballad ... my recommendations

In my opinion this is one of the best Manowar songs, my favourite at last. It's so epic!

Eric Adams is such a beast ... and this song is a Masterpiece, like so many other classic Manowar Songs! This Band was far ahead of its time back in the days!

Thank you for this great reaction. The Song is very old (i think it was made 1982) but so powerful. The visuals are fanmade, i guess, but they fit perfect to the brutal lyrics. You already listened to a manowar song: The Feuerschwanz song is a cover of a manowar song. I loved this band so much, when i was younger 😁😂.

Live version from Earthshaker Fest is must to see with 3 drummers, 3 lead guitarist, choir and orchestra. That dvd is (Absolute Power) is legendary.

It’s been some time since I’ve heard this band, who I think formed in the early 80’s..their music being themed by mythology and fantasy. They have also featured in the Guinness book of records for playing at one time the loudest concert. I mention that as I attended a then Guinness world record when I saw Deep Purple..ear splitting is an understatement. The music still has a freshness about it and reminds me of that fine Finnish symphonic metal band Turisas in parts. Rather than being globally popular, it may be fair to say that Manowar enjoy something of a cult following…nothing wrong with that in my book. I love the change of tempo in this song as it themes a battle scene. Sabina..another thoughtful reaction..👏👏 Great song choice.

I roadied for a band in the 80s that ended up doing a support slot for this band. I was standing behind the mixer chatting to their sound engineer, when these guys in suits came over to chat to the engineer. I noticed they all had long hair tied back,I thought ,this can't be manowar surely? They were discussing money and ways to make more of it!! When manowar finally came on stage, there was these same guys, wearing bearskins and make up!!!! What a transformation! I was used to heavy metal bands living the rocknroll lifestyle, leather and denims etc, seeing these guys in suits was a bit of a suprise!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Sabina, great reaction, but it would like to be alone, the emotions must all come out... thanks, I haven't heard it for a long time, I bought this record on the stock exchange in Prague in 1990, it has a great cover... but the recording is from 1982, unreal, great!!!

That guitar solo is what made me buy an electric guitar! Then I realized I can't play worth a lick, I am near tone deaf and got no sense for how the instrument works so after a year as a wall decoration I gave it to my musically inclined nephew, it was a great time in my life. So every time I hear that guitar solo it gives me like 15 months worth of good memories. The rest of the song is incredible, I think the video goes well with it and I appreciate your reaction, but I hope you can understand why the solo stands out to me.

Manowar is great music and a way of life! Try bridge of death by them, please. its one of my fav by them.

May I please request you to react to Jagjeet Singh's beautiful rendition of 'Ye Alag Baat Hai Saaki Ke Mujhe Hosh Nahin." It's a transcendental experience to hear this beautiful and intense ghazal in his velvety voice.The rendition that I could find on RU-vid is from his Pakistan's visit in the 1970's where he sang it live. Jagjeet Singh was an Indian but he is loved by millions of Indians and Pakistanis alike. Such was the unifying divinity of his music. Thank you.

The song has nothing to do w/ LOTR :) but anyways, this is one great video really. ManOwaR, 'The Kings Of Metal', together with Helloween, Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian, are one of the 'big 4' of the so called Power Metal (we can always make them 'big 5', of'courpse :) if we add the everlasting Running Wild, though they are labeled as 'pirate metal' 🍻🤠🤟) and were the very first to play and sing in this style, which they still keep as their 'trademark', and it distinguishes them from all other bands (the same goes about RW and their style, too). Eric Adams this way is one of the 3 best voices in Metal as a whole, with Michael Kiske (who is the best in all Rock ;) ) and Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian).

Definitely Defender by Manowar. (Actually they have sooo many epic songs) Eric is one of the best metal singers 🤘🏼🤘🏼

There is no doubt that Manowar was a great band, but for someone who is now discovering the many virtues of these guys, "Battle hymn" is a song from their first album, which is not very representative of their quality. If you allow me, @Sabina, I would recommend you react to some of the great themes of what for me is their "Holy Trinity": the albums "Fighting the world" (this album is really crazy, it doesn't have a single song bad), "Kings of metal" (perhaps the most representative, and where you will appreciate like never before that sensation of... epicity, if this word exists, XDD, that would go even better with those images of The Lord of the Rings) and "The triumph of steel" (here their quality has already started to drop somewhat, but it is still full of good songs). After these three albums, without detracting from some later songs like "Warriors of the world", their quality is already rapidly losing.

If you like the visual mix with Lord of the Rings give "Ensiferum - Into the battle" a go. You could be pleased.
