Knowing One of these Nights is possibly a tribute to the Sewol Ferry incident makes listening to the song and watching the MV so emotional for me..

You should continue to react to the MV's in order(skipping the ones you have seen of course). They get better with each listen. You should eventually react to the live video of them covering BoA's "Milky Way." It's the first video to have Wendy since her accident back in December. Also, I loved your face when you realized they were trying to murder each other in "Russian Roulette" lmao.

I also use to love One of this Nighs just for how beautiful the song is, but after hearing about the Sewol Tragedy, I can't stop tearing up, every time.

Ahhhh everytime I see one of your reactions is live I get so happy! Red Velvet is my second favorite all time GG's (first being SNSD) so happy you are continuing to react to them. Dumb dumb is probably one of my favorite tracks and choreos of theirs, One of These Night is just a heartbreaking ballad that feeds my soul at the same time it fills my eyes with tears and Russian Roulette is the MV where the murdering and the slightly off kilter concept starts and what a bop to murder someone with lol

You should definitely check out Peekaboo, Rookie, and RBB! Seulgi also released a song with Moonbyul called "Selfish," if you haven't seen it. They've also recently released a cover of Boa's song Milky Way that really shows off their vocals. Thank you for the reaction :)

Glad you like Happiness more than you expected bc it's one of the best debut songs imo, it's criminally underrated. That little wink Yeri does in Dumb Dumb gets me every time idk why. OOTN is sooo good, everything about it flows so nicely. Russian Roulette is a bop and the whole concept is so well executed.. I also really miss orange Seulgi 😔

Dumb Dumb is my favorite Red Velvet song, idk is so catchy.

Dumb Dumb was the first Red Velvet song I ever listened to and Russian Roulette was the first comeback of theirs I actively followed (like watched the teasers, performances and stuff), so they are pretty special to me. I love One of These Nights as well, especially their live performance at Sketchbook. So it was fun to rewatch these MVs with you :) If you pay attention to the Russian Roulette MV they've been trying to kill each other from the start, though it only becomes obvious near the end. The first scene is Wendy setting fire to Seulgi's clothes, Yeri feeds them screws and nails desguised as cereal, they all throw heavy objects at Irene and etc

Fun fact: Russian Roulette was featured on the movie Trolls: World Tour! i just hope the kids dont find the mv cuz its about them killing each other 😅😅

One Of These Nights is one of my fave on their Velvet side. They are just flexin their vocals there. I always wanna hear that song while I'm relaxing or when I'm about to go to sleep. Dumb Dumb is the first red side song that I liked at first listen cause some of the red side title tracks needs a little growing on me, example are Happiness and Zimzalabim 😅 So I guess we should go with Red Flavor, Umpah Umpah, Really Bad Boy? And definitely some albums I love their entire discography. Their Japanese singles are a bop too.

About who comes up with the weird concepts: You should check out Shinee's SNL sketch 'The dangerous manager'. Red Velvet really reminds me of Shinee in terms of being an extremely talented group that the company uses for experiments - in music, concepts, fashion etc. As a 2nd gen group though they can be more open and joke about the weirdness. You should check out Red Velvet's MV commentary on One of These Nights - it's so hilarious because the members totally roast Wendy in the mv - that's all I will say LOL. Even though they tease her, they are like sisters so you know they love each other to death haha. Plus Wendy is known for sacrificing herself to make the other members laugh :D Oh also, fun fact, when it comes to fellow female kpop stars, Joy is really close friends with Yerin of Gfriend - they went to the same performing arts school along with Hayoung of Apink. All three are very close friends. Irene is really close friends with Jennie of Blankpink. Seulgi is really close friends with Jisoo of Blackpink and Moonbyul of Mamamoo. Yeri is really close friends with pretty much everyone lol and Wendy is doted upon by all of her sunbaenims at SM :)

LMAO @ 4:14 so true I would like to know too! Super funny - Red Velvet = Great Music and Unpredictable Videos. One of these Nights is a beautiful song but slower songs unfortunately never get enough views or praise as they should. I look at other great artists and you see the same such as Chungha's "Everybody Has" MV compared to "Play" MV.

Everytime after i hear dumb dumb, my brain for the rest of the day goes dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. Also I don't like those pipi longstocking braids 🙈 Russian roulette, where you are cute while committing murder XD I'm a fan of their red side, i LOVE the cute creepy vibes, while velvet side is not bad, but I'm not a big fan of slow songs and ballads (doesn't matter the group) so it takes me a lot of listening to start like this songs (ex from red velvet didn't liked bad boy at all, now I'm like, well is not a bad song, it took me weeks to get to that result)
