the craziest cover of Elvis is: Can't help falling in love (Стерео) - Диана Анкудинова @ Шоумаскгоон, 1 тур . I'm sure it will blow your mind! ... sorry, you already have a reaction
@@flowersafterrainfallI'm pretty sure he recorded this about a month before she passed. There is love, tenderness, melancholy, sadness, and a comforting. It doesn't quite fit the lyrics, but when you know the story,.... 🥹😢
This version…. His voice projects longing, aching, and desperation….. much more about the feelings than vocal bravado…. Completely agree with your sentiment….❤
Great points! totally agree Ren focused on the emotional projection and prioritized that as the heart of the song - To me this song comes through much better in an unpolished state
Just for fun, check out Ren's karaoke rendition of fly me to the moon ....not a request it's just 2 minutes of amazing vocals and smile's,and don't forget ren dropping a new tune today on RU-vid 😊👍👍
In case you're wondering... Yes... he does a Killer Frank Sinatra as well... its Ren... he can do Anything! Lol PS... he just released a New retake video less than 2 hours ago! And damned if he didn't surprise me Again!!! Wow! Incredible just isn't a good enough word for him!!!
Ren's version is a different vibe, at 120 BPM with 4/4 meter (4 beats per measure, e.g. WISE-2-3-4, MEN-2-3-4, SAY-2-3-4), compared to the original at 67 BPM with 6/8 compound meter (2 beats per measure, e.g. WISE-&-&-2-&-&, MEN-&-&-2-&-&, SAY-&-&-2-&-&). It was a good choice to omit the drum track and slow it down (e.g. singing "wise men say" in 6 seconds instead of 5.4 seconds). It sounds more intimate and heartfelt.
I'm rambling! Lol You remind me of Michelle from the movie American Pie.. This one time at band camp..lol I mean this in a good way. Just the enthusiasm in your voice and then catching yourself.. :)
OMG! You did it! My whole freaking life I’ve been trying to figure out why I can’t stand f**king Elvis. 💥 BAM! It’s not just that I don’t like his voice. It’s that I saw him as “poser”. He was a poser, because he was incapable of making me feel anything. Thank you so much for helping me finally understand this life long dislike for freaking Elvis. I literally spat my cereal out when you made that comment. I literally used to say he was an over hyped loser that died in a very appropriate place. I’m 52 years old. I got into music early. Thus, for 42 years I’ve been trying to figure out why I can’t stomach Elvis. I’m truly not being sarcastic here. I’ve always veiwed Elvis with utter contempt. I’m not a hateful person. I’m actually extremely sensitive. It never made any sense. Thanks. Life long mystery…solved. Love your channel by the way. Have a really good day. 👍😄😆🤣❤️✌️😘
@@flowersafterrainfall I’m definitely a lot like you. I think that’s why I tend to enjoy your whole vibe. Mad respect for the fact that you have your insecurities, and have had the courage to create your channel. Seriously. 😉❤️✌️
