I totally feel you when you said SVT is one of those groups who seem more connected to music. I think that's why i get emotional watching this MV too. Cause you can clearly see how passionate they are about music, especially Woozi's music, and that they meant every word that they sang in this song and in the whole album as well
This is a song that should be played whenever theres any hint of fan wars or fandoms trying to discredit other groups. Music is about fun, enjoyement, connection...bringing together people from all walks of life, all countries, all cultures, who share a love for music or even a love for certain artists. It's not about toxicity, it's not about tribalism, it's about music and the way it can connect with us through language barriers and through continents, how it bring people together to share this love despite different languages and countries too. Whilst I can't say this sort of Seventeen sound is my personal fave like yours, it's joyus, it's uplifting, and most of all it's got a message that people should heed, and that is what Seventeen do best.
Their passion for music and performance translate well to the songs they put out. That's why they can do whatever genre - and it would still feel genuinely Seventeen. I love that this track is completely different from Super - because it just shows their range. Looking forward to your album reaction.
A Coups had the injury when filming so that's why he's sitting all the time and FaceTime as he wasn't in the MV for the majority and the dancing. But so glad he was in there ❤
I totally agree with you that SVT is the main senior that rookies would look up to. Their passion, their drive, their attitude towards fellow artists and people in the industry, their bond among themselves and also with the fans, not to mention their superb performing skill. I would totally want to be as well-rounded and successful as them! Thank you for your reaction it’s lovely!
I may get heat from this, so dont take it the wrong way; 1) the field looks very "Blue hour" like, and 2) why do I feel like they saw the success of "Permission To Dance" and thought, "why dont we use this as a base but add our own personal touch"? It feels that way; I do not HATE ON SVT. BTS AND THEM ARE ON THE SAME LABEL.
I knew you would love it as much as i do. I just recently caught up on your other svt reactions and saw how much you loved songs like pretty u and oh my. This feels so SEVENTEEN. And i couldnt love it more. Or I'm just biased as a carat lol. 😅
If you see on the hands of the doctor person when is looking the results of Scoups' results... You can read MUSIC. Like it's on his body. It even higlights quickly so you can read it
the MV was filmed in Budapest and SCoups has a torn ACL and couldn't go, he's still recuperating, he won't be participating in most of the promotions 🥲
This song/MV seriously made me want to go to their concert and vibe with everyone 😭😭😭 Thank you for the wonderful and beautifully said comments/reaction 🥹
AHHHHHHH I’M LOSING IT FRESH N FUNKY SEVENTEEN IS BACK BABYYY THEY NEVER LEFT the joy! the energy! the music video! the choreo! the colors! the grandness! that ending scene on the bridge are you KIDDING ME I love the message! Not calling themselves “gods of music,” but saying that if there’s a god of music out there, thanks for giving us the joy of music - calling it the universal language, all that…I LOVE IT SM I love how they incorporated S.Coups into the MV as well - he’s still very much so present and there, we LOVE to see it (we do be focusing on the MV and the song and all that but like also BLONDE MINGHAO BLONDE MINGHAO QKDKKSKSKAL) Kung chi pak chi my beloved I will be singing along to you literally every day for the next month LMAO
I second everything you say about Svt. I feel the same way, also regarding their type of music genres that I love the most from them (other than the softer ballads that make me cry). I also think it's because they're such a BIG family and you can obviously see how genuine their connections are to one another, for such a big group it's also one of the things that draws me towards them. The warmth that I get by knowing that they're there for one another genuinely (instead of just treating one another as business partners). Growing up together, doing what they love together, inspiring one another, supporting one another, encouraging one another (they are always hyping one another), working their way together through conflicts (everybody needs these kinds of support system)...it's the kind of recipe that makes me feel like they make the world a better place, you know (not just through music). I think this also translates to their strength as an idol group, because you can feel the unity and the strong belief/healthy pride they have in their songs. When I feel down and I lose faith in mankind, watching Svt music videos/Going Seventeen reignite my faith (also their softer songs can comfort me in different ways). They feel like a glimpse of safe haven on earth in some ways, even though I don't personally know them.
when I first listened to it I immediately went this is so theatre. so there is definitely something about it that just radiates theatre kid vibes. Edit: Kinda give thank you for the music vibes concept wise
