Also even though Soyou and Hyolyn went the solo route, Bora and Dasom went more the acting and variety route. Bora's hosted on a few shows (she showed up for a little bit on produce48) and acted in a couple of dramas and had a few magazine shoots. Dasom's been mostly only acted since disbandment from what I know of.

Bora more like a dance and variety type, there's bunch of that category if you search about her. While Dasom have bunch of KDrama's roles, she's more in the actress kind of category.

When you get to their solo stuff, SoYou and Hyo have some phenomenal duet covers; Christina Aguilllera’s “Hurt” and K.Will’s “Growing” -though the latter is shortened. Some of Hyo’s colabs during Sistar were permanent playlisters too; Erase, Dark Panda, Love Line, Adel’s “Hello”, Jekyll & Hyde, and Bang Bang with Jessie and Ailee. Plenty of others, but those did it for me.

SISTAR was actually known as Summer Queen group due to their summery vibe (altho Alone was the one that brought them up). Probably due to their "bikini body" image since every member has pretty good curves for a Kpop idol (as you may have noticed most of Kpop girls are very skinny), also Bora and Hyolyn who have tan skin which is considered unusual in Kpop industry. There used to be talks among boy groups *cough* Super Junior *cough* about preferring 'curvy' Sistar over 'pretty faced' Girls Generation. I forgot which member said that. but that guy wouldn't survive the 3rd gen Kpop fans with that comment lmao.

Like many have said.... Sistar were the summer queens. At one point, they we're even on par with 2ne1 and Girls Generation as the best girl group of the 2nd Gen.
