We're Back STAYS!!!! It's been a while since we had some Stray Kids up in here other than streams and what better way to prepare for this weeks comeback than with an absolute banger from ODDinary! Freeze feels like classic SKZ to me now. Brilliant production, genius lyric use and just overall excellent to listen to! And the MV is brilliant! Baby Bread is a Boss... who knew XD

'Ddaeng' (땡) comes from a Korean freeze tag game. Someone gets frozen when 'eoreum' (얼음, which translates to 'ice' and meant to 'freeze' the player) is said. Another player unfreezes the player by saying ''ddaeng' (땡), but it doesn't directly translate to 'unfreeze,' but that's what it's used to mean in the game. So basically play on words in true SKZ style!

Oh that's cool! I didn't realize it was a game, when I searched it there was just a snippet that said it was referencing 'unfreeze' but didn't say it was an actual translation. But that's so clever of them XD

@@atgnireactions5343 yeah at the very beginning and in another section of the song you hear Changbin say "eoreum, ddaeng, eoreum, ddaeng" in reference to the game! 😂

At the end of the mv the newspaper basically describes I.N as the leader of the mafia but the other's don't seem to know/see it. So Hyunjin is annoyed/sad/upset because they can't find the leader and I.N at the end steps out and shows us viewers that he is the one they're looking for, being a bit cooky because he hasn't been discovered.

Aaahhh it was so nice to see you reacting to Freeze. Others have already explained the wordplay so won't repeat. But yeah, the song itself...fire..the MV.. brilliant. Like a movie. I.N. in the end killed us all! That was such a jaw dropping moment. And the dance practice wow wow wow. We were so happy to see that done live as well. And I always love the makinb videos. Anyway, so glad you saw this. Gosh, you have so much yo discover still..... but first: the comeback. So excited!

I can't wait to their next comeback we only have 4 days did you see the teasee mv and unveils? You should also see their album intro that they release every comeback its like explaining what are their songs in the album they already have that from i am not(debut) to maxident era maybe they will release one in 5 star album you can check that out after you see thier songs if you are interested.

You'll definitely want to watch the album intro after the album drops. They do one for basically every Korean album, and it's fascinating to see what they have to say about the theme and individual songs and where SKZ are in their journey and so forth. The intros are some of the best vehicles through which to really see their approach as artists.
