Dude is straight SAVAGE for repelling from rafters! Sting has been my favorite wrestler since I was a kid…now 34….used to stay up watching nitro as a kid. This brought back so many memories. Good memories! 90s was a hell of a time to be a wrestling fan. This is truly the end of an era….Sting, Steve Borden you deserve to go out like this!

Although I am 22 years old I was not alive when WCW was around I’ve looked back on everything. Sting has done from then till now, and seeing him come down the rafters, put a smile on my face.

Caden, there are many of us who were kids in the 80s/90s and remember seeing Sting repelling from the Rafters back then. To see it one more time before Sting retires was special in so many ways that it's hard to describe. It's a moment that we're beyond grateful for and a memory that we'll cherish forever. I'm honestly glad that the people of the younger generation, like you, got to see it happen at least once before Sting retired. It's something we may never see again.

This is an industry farewell for Sting and he completely deserves it. AEW is showing everyone how you treat a legend. Taker, Flair, Rhodes, Hogan, and a host of others should have had last runs like this (Though Taker was treated the best of all until this Sting run). Tommy Dreamer nailed it dead on.

Born in 88, first exposed to Sting in 93. Grateful for his career but I'm not going to get emotional. Highly doubt it's worthy of "questioning someone as a wrestling fan" Dave 😂. Glad it means something to draw emotion from those who do tho. Congrats sting 👏🏾

Sting unquestionably would be on the mount Rushmore of WCW. He undoubtedly was the face of wcw and both Eras of the company and absolutely is one of the greatest of all time and just so happens to be my favorite wrestler of all time. Sting as corny as it sounds at almost 40 years old, but with no shame is one of my heroes. I know I will be emotional on his last match because it will mark the end of an Era and one of the greatest legacies in the history of professional wrestling.

They let the faces get the upperhand in the go home show. That means the Bucks will win the belts at the PPV. What a terrible last match, losing to those two clowns who shouldn't even be on national TV. It's gonna be terrible to see them win and stomp on Sting for his send off. Terrible if it happens!!

Aew did it right tony khan has given sting the send off he rightfully deserves let him go out on his terms going out into his last match as a champion and in my opinion this is his best run i loved sting vs nwo but man at his age this is my favorite sting run regardless weather sting wins or losses we the fans will always remeber stings last match

I wouldn't say WWE mistreated Sting because he was in big stories with their stars. The only thing that was wrong was that WrestleMania loss to HHH. I'm so excited to see Sting's last match. I hope it's not the last we see of him on a wrestling show.

I really hope Sting goes out on top. But, if he did do the job, I really hope that they evps don't stop talking about it two weeks later. You know, like everything else in aew. The book of Hobbs comes to mind. Wardlow wasn't even on the show this week. I legit forgot all about Adam Cole anyways. Ha.

I don't get the Sting hype. He hasn't been good since before he originally became crow Sting in WCW. When you look at his career what great promos did he deliver? What great matches did he have? I mean the only really good matches I remember him having were against Flair or Vader -- that was when he was still 'surfer' Sting. The biggest match of crow sting -- against Hogan -- was a disappointment. He never had a Scorpion Deathlock vs Sharpshooter match against Bret, and his WWE run was totally underwhelming. His AEW run has been nothing but cringe. I don't get it.

I been trying to watch AEW for Sting but god it's fucking awful. AWFUL. The bucks guys are the least threatening heels I've ever seen in forty years of watching wrestling. I could beat them both up at the same time. The only interesting people on the show are Orange Cassidy and Christian.
