They debuted with this line up in 2000 at 15/16 yrs old and had huge critical success and a hit single but were dropped due to low album sales. The red head left due to infighting and bullying and was replaced by a blonde girl and the group went on to have huge commercial and critical success with their next 3 albums. The Asian girl left and was again replaced by someone else and they did continue to have huge success, surviving another line up change. But over time their vibe totally changed and became generic girl group matching outfit fodder and became the total opposite of how the group started. The black girl Keisha, the only original founding member after 12 years was fired and replaced by another black girl and the group became a totally different group with no original members and released a few moderately successful yet forgettable singles then the group dissolved. In 2012 the original trio reunited and released a single as MKS as they didn’t have the rights to the Sugababes name that they invented, recorded an album but years of legal turmoil prevented them from releasing music. In 2022 they eventually released their album under the Sugababes name legally and have been successfully touring ever since as the original and best vocally trio. Their vocal harmonies r so beautiful and legendary in the British music industry
