Thanks for this reaction. The lyrics of this song, which features the collaboration of Tom Pintens, Tamino's mentor and who recently passed away sadly, are so well done that I use them as an exercise in a course I teach on character building in narrative. It is a wonderful example of how mythology can be the source of human depth, without being a paraphrase of the story between Persephone and Hades, but rather a correlate that could very well transcend the story between the two of them. Thank you again.

I can highly recommend Stephen Fry's humourous, witty and interesting trilogy on greek mythology Mythos, Heroes and Troy if you're interested in a recent mythology read! Another enjoyable Tamino reaction!

Stockholm syndrome 😉 Thanks for this reaction of this beautiful song. Always a pleasure to see your reaction about Tamino's voice, work, lyrics. And you're totally right about the lyrics. And yes he speak about relationships too, when you see the official video, the imagery at the end is very different and the 2 characters are on a modern scene, far from the first part of the video when you can recognize Hades and Persephone in a most imaginary world.
