Tamino - So It Goes (Olympia Concert Paris) Reaction! 

oooooh yea... this version is something special! Check out literally anything he has done. All amazing stuff :)

Tamino makes songs mostly up for self interpretation! They have a slight story entangled within but mostly they’re up to how you want to interpret it for yourself :) 💜

This song is about how he has been a slave to time rather than rightfully being the master of it. He talks about how he has spent time and realizes that what he thought was comfort was truly just being stuck in the concept of time. He sees the freedom of just letting go, but it means leaving the enslaved comfort of the usual spending of time and venturing out into the changes that life may dare take him. He gets to choose. He's always been able to choose. He feels that he should have chosen better. He should choose freedom.

I would say his music is like alternative/pop with Arab influence. Since he's half Egyptian he likes to incorporate Arab music/sounds and instruments into his more modern, western appealing, songs. And that's something I think is super unique. A couple fun facts about some of the musicians onstage with him, his bass player is Colin Greenwood from Radiohead (if ur a Radiohead fan or have heard of Radiohead) and then the guitar-like instrument (which is called an oud) and the flute-like instrument (which I believe is called a ney, I might be mistake though) are both played by musicians who are Syrian refugees. This is definitely his song with the most Middle Eastern influence, which is why it's one of my favs. But he'll go from playing a beautiful song like this full of Arab influence and then go into playing a Chris Cornell cover. Gotta love it.

All about it its absorving you into an another kind of dimension. Another world. All of them are incredible. The man playing the guitar at the back, it is Tamino's teacher. Im from Argentina, i bet no one knows who he is. 🥺
