This song, I will listen to other songs, is not quite my cup of tea. But hearing your reaction and analysis cause me not immediately write them off but, to listen. Great having you back and I’ll keep listening, thanks.
He's back! Happy to have you Chase! If you're taking requests I'd defo recommend Sun Killer from new Spiritbox album, Veil of Maya just dropped a banger with Outrun... I've been vibing to Imminence recently and their newest song Ghost is sick!
Their Zombie II EP is some of the hardest stuff they've composed in a while. Give that a listen too! Love your reactions! Your ears pick up on stuff I never really hear until I watch your videos. So cool!
Do you think you could react to Reason by Japanese pair Syu (guitarist of Galneryus) and fuki (Singer of DollBoxx and unlucky Morpheus) keep up the good work!
I love ur reactions man!Would you care to check out my bands first single called Swan Mill-Willow? Its modern pop punk! I would love to see ur take on it
Hi Chase, great to see you back mate! Hope you start to pick up as we've missed you. Great return track, really enjoyable! You should check out their Zombie II EP that was recently released. Brilliant! Also please please check out the new Belakor tracks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pYZQVgL84rA.html Cheers mate! 👍🤗
TDWP has gone through some super interesting changes over the years. I have really enjoyed seeing them keep trying nee things. Would love to see you react to some of their other material throughout the years
Man, I love watching you appreciate music. While I can obviously love music on my own, hearing you walk through some of my favorite music just makes me love it more. I genuinely believe music is literally magic and a large part of that is the shared experience. There's some sort of bond that happens when people see each other experience the same joy from music. I owe some of my best friendships to this experience. This is why your channel is successful.
Old TDWP is definitely nostalgic and fun, but they’ve come VERY far since then, The Act, their previous album, is sooooo cool and unique and inventive. It’s haunting, emotional, abstract. Their iconic Zombie EP from back in the day still holds up as an all-time great metalcore release, but their follow up ep’s Space EP and ZII, are huge leaps forward as far as songwriting, production, and arrangement. If you check them out, Zombie for old school heaviness, Space EP for cool atmosphere and production, The Act for just a masterpiece of what i might call post-metalcore, and ZII for a super enjoyable metalcore release that gives you everything you could want in one.
Good to see you are back. Hope you get well soon. There are so many, very good, bands to recommend, but first this: Skalmold (with Orchestra). Maybe you would like to react to one of these songs: Aras: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z55f4Q__5vM.html Kvadning: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yAyFyEFoZvs.html
My man!! Epica has posted a new video on their youtube channel! Its Kingdom of Heaven Part III from Omega Alive! Its just too good of a performance and I think you will love it! Lots of love from brazil
Love your reactions Chase. Such a knowledgeable reaction artist! Your reactions changed how I listen to music. I would love to see your reaction to STARSETS new track EARTHRISE. It’s such a powerful song with powerful lyrics. Very epic and atmospheric.
Hey chase! Great to always see your reacts! Hope you would also do more Dreamcatcher reacts in the future as well, those have always been my favorite on your channel! :D
So glad to see a posting from you again. I know what music I like but I don't know why I do 😁. Then you come along and all of a sudden I have a better grasp of why I like it (or why not). Just know we appreciate you man. Be well.
Thank you so much for finally reacting to TDWP 😍 I‘ve requested „Born to lose“ since summer of last year and now I know why you didn’t touch on that 😉 They are truly one of my favorite bands! „Sacrifice“ is just awesome and I‘m glad you liked it! If you’re not familiar with their Zombie EP I highly recommend to give it a listen - especially the Song „Outnumbered“. In regards to Sleep Token: I‘m sooo jealous you’re going to see them live! Can’t imagine how impactful it must be to listen and feel their music rare and close up. „Atlantic“ might be a song you wanna do a reaction, it‘s my current favorite of them and I just can’t stop listening to it 😄 Get well and hope to see you again soon 😊
I find reactions without pauses kind of awkward. I think the people who like pauses just leave those other reactors alone instead of complaining. As always, good to see you :)
glad to see you back to posting. id love to hear you break down haggard - of a might divine. haggard are/were an incredible band that mixed a very strong dose of classical with melodic death metal, in a way no other band has. its such a strong classical influence that they have numerous classical musicians as full time members of the band, and multiple singers. theyre basically a small orchestra.
Hey Chase!! How you doing man?? I need your help. Got a friend and guitarist I finally convinced to listen to Band-Maid. His current favorite bands are Gojira, Tool, Alter Bridge, Mastodon and Led Zeppelin. From these bands and what you've heard from Band-Maid so far, what songs should I give him first? Thanks 😊
I promise I’m doing them as often as I can. It’s a hobbie for me with no fonts cos gain so it’s strictly for the love of it. Promise I’ll keep doing them as often as I can
Just subscribed, love your reviews but... HOW HAVE YOU NOT DONE BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME??? Seriously man, arguably the tightest band on the planet. Everything they do is great, pick a song!
Last week, Betraying The Martyrs released a song called "The Black Hole"... Pretty sure you would love it but I'm very curious to your reaction and breakdown! :D
Spiritbox:This is a new Courtney LaPante 1-take performance for the song Circle With Me ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zMnfkW9UZc4.html
Not a band I know but I'll check them out a bit more. A couple of suggestions for you .. Reuben - Blamethrower ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qNrcNFq7OuA.html Tallah - Vanilla Paste ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4kbNZAyIWDo.html Crosses - Bitches Brew ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QBN-1Q0_Fiw.html
Hey Chase! I am pretty sure you are quite busy and it is clearly not easy to choose some artists/songs to react to, mainly because the production out there is huge. But you should really really consider another amazing Japanese band of 5 young ladies: NEMOPHILA. Just try Dissension... or maybe Raitei... or Sorai.... or ..... Aarrghhh damned! How to choose one ???!!! Take care.
I hope you feel better by the time you read this, if you’re not feeling 100% yet I wish you a speedy recovery. I would like to suggest that you react to “No Woman No Cry”. But not just any version, and not even with Bob. Instead I would like you to react to the live version performed by Ziggy Marley and John Popper. It’s 8 1/2 minutes but time very well spent in my personal opinion. The clip is called “John Popper (Blues Traveller) No Woman No Cry live harmonica complete”, maybe not the most logical title but now you can find it a bit easier.
Hi Chase! I saw that picture of your Dad riding a horse without a shirt, and this comment should be there, but I could`t find it anymore. So... I love how you respect your dad, it`s beautiful
Remember the days of CDs? I still buy them! I hate not having a physical copy. Downloads/streams are no substitute. Nice to have you back in the game. Look after yourself. 🤘💜
Hi, Chase! Nice you're back! Not really related to TWDP, but I would love to see your reaction to The Gathering - Travel. Either the album version or live at Doornrosje. It's a beautiful musical journey in 9 minutes, a love letter to music itself. Likely to get you into a trance state, I'm sure you're gonna like breaking this song down.
Hey man, just found your channel and really enjoy your reactions and breakdowns of the songs. Edit: Suggested a song you've already covered. Sorry about that. But if I can throw another out there that you may not have done, "Cadaver/Revadac" by Unlucky Morpheus is a great song.
It is so great to see you back on the You Tube scene! You have such a good ear and knowledge of music, you are truly an inspirational guy. Take care Chase, get well
i dont know why but i love watching people getting equally excited for music as myself lol also you should definitely react to something from Starset's new album! personally love Devolution and This Endless Endeavor
Hoping you're feeling better by the time you read this... How about an even bigger throwback? Helloween's Skyfall (first single of the new album, also called Helloween) came out earlier, when you were in interregnum, some really superb guitars and brilliant vocal work. Also, avery long time since we had some real power metal on this channel.
Dude I know you don’t make many these days but really would like you to do the Orbit Culture EP- all of it (or strangler, a sailors tale or mast of the world 😂) fingers crossed. Hope you are better soon
Speaking of the rare thing of stumbling over a new band that you really get hooked by. That was me very recently hearing The Warning on a vocal coach react stream on Twitch and speaking of cassette tapes I wanted to get some records on vinyl but they were prohibitively expensive so I ended up recording one of their live shows to cassette and drawing the band logo with a ballpoint pen like the old days just to have something (also my winter car has a tape deck) 😊
I've stuck by this band probably longer than any other act in music, first heard then when Dogs Can Grow Beards was released, and they've remained one of the most creative and influential acts in metalcore through a largely dull decade in the genre. If you haven't checked out "The Act" or "Zombie EP 2" then you're missing out. They've put out some of their best work in recent years and they're just as active in churning out new material as they've ever been
The eerie sinthy atmospheric sound in the background during the 2 beats starting at 6:41 (and actually repeated at the end of the song culminating in that final dark choir) is just off the freaking chart
dude idk who you are, first time ive ever seen one of your vids, but the way you listen to music is eerie similar to me and i never see that and that made me so happy, subscribed
Ah this brings me back to the times I listened to bands like blessthefall, Asking Alexandria.. going to concerts like every month, remembering that time someone stagedived on top of me during A Day to Remember that fucked up my back forever... good times. Very lovely to hear your analysis of this song and I do hope you are feeling better.
Yoooo Chase, nice to see you back. As always great video. There is still no reactor, at least for me, who is more entertaining to watch than you are. I mean yeah, nic nocturnal is funny as hell, but your knowledge and your thinking about the music helps me so much more to understand and to love the music. It sometimes feels like opening up a third eye or something, its just awesome to listen to you. And if you want to get into some more the devil wears prada, i think now is the best time for it. 2019 they released a full album (the act), which has a quite interesting sound imo and they also dropped an EP a few month back called ZII, which is absolutely astonishing. So if you want to do another reaction to them, I really would recommend to you NORA, CONTAGION or FORLORN. Im obsessed with all of them. I hope you get well soon.
Jeremy and mike said they didn’t know what their sound was gonna be like since they were the only OG members of the band. But this song and their last EP show that they found their sound as a band. Their last album was more soft but the Zombie ep ll and sacrifice have a mix of their soft side (chorus) and the heavier stuff they started making recently with down tuned guitars.
Hey Chase! I just stumbled across your awesome channel and I binge watched A LOT :D. You’re such a cool guy and I love to watch how enthusiastic and excited certain music gots you. When someone shares the same taste in music they already feel like a friend, not a stranger, so I joyfully listened to your analysis! ...what you said in one of the Landmvrks reacts really got to me. Everytime you explain how all parts come together, how you cherish the work and effort and illuminate how several people made up their minds behind every building breakdown, riff and rhythm ...etc. Man, this is so awesome. I am listening with more awareness from now on then I already have and it's great to have it explained by someone who's obviously so into it. I really do feel smarter than before. Mission accomplished. :D So, hope you’re fine and keep up the great work! PS...and of course finally: I know, I know you must be getting a lot of recs, but seriously: you neeeeeeed to check out Eskimo Callboy “We got the Moves”! Such a BANGER! Cheers!
I would LOVE to see your take on some of the new songs by The Warning. Martirio for example would be really interesting but Choke, Evolve, or Disciple as well. Their cover of Enter Sandman would probably get more views and while it is a great deconstructed version it's still a cover. Love to see you posting again btw
It's been cool to watch this band evolve. They seem to have gotten heavier but just in a different way. Thanks for putting these guys back on my playlist.
