Another vastly under rated British band, Absolutely love Spike's vocals. I would classify them as country rock or just a real good time. Saw them live twice and both shows were huge fun. Try sweet Mary Ann, Sex Party or Whipping boy.
Hit the bong then you really can feel where this Band was going with there music .. They came out when the industry was flooded with bands ....A Band like this... is one of Many good bands that should have got more playtime ..
Partied with these guys after their show in Victoria in ‘90 or ‘91…crazy night. Tore the joint apart. The look at “dirty device”…not a phone…welcome to Gen-x, we did it better than anyone.
My girlfriend at the time's brother was more into highly technical 70s rock/metal and used to call this 'flying elbow music' because of the basic rythm guitar. I love that description almost as much as I love the music

Same era (late 80's), Very cool band, love their debut album "A Bit of What You fancy". Fun fact: They were marketed as The London Quireboys in Australia, as there was an already well known successful local band called The Chiorboys (since I believe the late 70's/early '80's), and they didn't want to be confused with them.
