Can verify, trombone was my brother's main instrument in high school marching band. The only reason I think he'd ever think of trying to learn this was if he was going to do it in a trio or quartet with other trombones, because there is no way he'd be able to pull this off on his own. Maybe the main melody but definitely not the intense sections.

I love the way Herman Li approaches Through The Fire and Flames. After all these years of the song getting memed on it would be very easy to hate it, especially if it was your band's most well-known song, but this dude just embraces the memes and runs with them. Whether the song is being loaded with Clone Hero in jokes, poorly played on a flute, or ported to Trombone Champ he usually seems more than happy to check out the memes and tends to be impressed by them. We need more people like this.

I cant stop laughing at this--i mean it's obviously very difficult and kudos to the person that played it. Because it's played so quickly, some of the notes are very off cause the person playing doesn't have enough time to prepare for the next note. The amount of time it takes to slide from one note to the next must be borderline insane. It sounds like someone with a bad case of gas..... 🤡🤡Herman Li's comment at the end, "dont do drugs", simply priceless!! 😂😂

Also Herman... I've played the trombone since middle school through my senior year in highschool. I can vouch how this would be hard to play on both the game and in real life. But knowing that there's too many glissandos in the game would not make it as "Through The Fires And The Flames" it would be "Through The Waters And The Waves" it needs articulation.

When the "solo" kicked in, it reminded me of the time my cousin, Ricky got on his dirt bike for the first time. But, he blasted off into the holler and swamp and the sound was horrific and then there was complete silence....then we just heard him moaning. He was hooked up in amongst a persimmon tree and a briar patch. We daubed mercurachrome on him and sent him off'n the ER on our way to the Piggly Wiggly. He had a busted up leg, had to drain fluid out of his knee cap...but, he met his now wife there. Since then she's cured him of all his adrenaline rushes. But, deep down I know he misses the rush. He still smiles till this day when he hears any type of two stroke engine and his eyes and ears perk up like a deer in headlights. Love ya, Chigger.
