In Islam itself especially some of the conservative followers forbide playing music. Many more others think of it as none a big problem. Hey Frank and all my brother ..... I live in Indonesia and I have to clarify what the song lyric means so please don't generaly that all Indonesian people and moslem agree with that. VOB stay or live a part of Indonesia we can say in the small town. You know people there are traditional and her parent said god not accept caused music metal make someone would damage. Then one more fans music metal in my country sorry little bit brutal. I guess this what the song means. We are who stay in the big city love VOB music and they are the best one.

If you don't mind, I'd like to tell a bit. This band was formed when they were secondary school's students. Their school was islamic private school where mostly the system was more idealistic (sorry, I prefer to call it idealism not belief). Of course, VOB faced various judgement and critic under their environment. Meanwhile, most of moslems support them for Indonesia be well-known in the world. Additionally, they can spread love through their music that Islam is beautiful and loving-peace.
This is only music bro, the universal languages; God give a freedom for human being to choose his own way, be a good human being or bad human being, depend to our mind, our intellegentn our heart. Freedom for us it doesnt mean we can do anything we want do, We should following the role, to keep everything in the right track. Worship to the God, be kind to the others human being and nature.
