When I heard that, I initially thought it was my cat starting to have a hairball. Then I went back in the video, heard it again, and realized it wasn't him LOL!
Your reactions at 4:55 and 6:00 to Geoff made me laugh, especially at 6:00. "I have *SO* much-" Geoff: *appears on screen* "I am the shadow of the moon at night," (O-O) *gasps and falls back* I got a good laugh out of that. ;)
All of them were turning into characters from the movie - Eli turned into the mayor, Geoff a vampire, Earl was the big guy with the axe in his head (Bunny!"), Layne was Shock (Boogie's boys), and J-none was the wolfman. Great month, although gotta say I didn't like Paint nearly as much as any of the others.
I’m pretty sure Layne was supposed to be the actual devil guy. Not the one from Boogie’s Boys, but the adult one with the deeper voice. (“It’s time to party.”) I’m not entirely sure though, I could be wrong. But I’m glad someone pointed out the characters because not a lot of people actually take notice that they’re characters from the actual movie! 😁
My favorite Halloween costume: 1984, I couldn't decide whether to be Billy Idol or Michael Jackson, so I did both, split down the middle! Spiked blonde hair, cycling leathers, and lip curl on one side, Jheri curl, Thriller jacket, and sequined glove on the other. I learned to mosh and moonwalk at the same time.
Not gonna lie, I'm impressed at Ginger's ability to project in that particular range of the microphone. I know you didn't want your cat to speak in the recording, but it was actually kind of spooky to the point where I was poking my head into the hallway to make sure my roommates' cats were okay! Was a nice laugh for me when I realized it was from the video. Outfit looks great for going to work! Kind of sucks that most workplaces don't let us go all out with the craziest stuff, but you've clearly put a lot of work in this month, particularly in that department. Cool video! They did such a crazy-good rendition of this song too!
It scared the daylights out of me too because it sounded like it was coming from the hallway just barely outside my room. Had to replay it twice just to make sure it wasn't actually a sound in my house.
My cat was sitting next to me so I thought my cat was screaming at me when I heard your cat. I'm also going as a haunted host I'm dressing in all black with an old bamboo cane I'll be limping around on with a rusted looking plastic chain around my neck.
Happy Halloween and Blessed Samhain! So glad you did this video! Eli's run at the end of that is SO beautiful! And I love this video, one of my all time favorites! Also, Geoff as the world's sexiest vampire since Lestat, may fill my dreams, but not with fright, I'll tell you that much! My favorite Halloween costume? Probably the Succubus one, because it would never fit me now. The only problem was I had two horns stuck on my forehead with spirit gum, which my body reacted to, and I ended up with two nickel size red dots on my forehead for about a week afterwards! Oh, and it wasn't for Halloween, but I have an "Exploding Tardis" (the painting) costume I wore to the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who, and everyone knew what it was! All the Whovians, anyway. If I had a TARDIS, that's one bit of my life I would revisit often!
There's a behind the scenes video on youtube called "this is halloween second edit" which was shot by one of the people working with voiceplay. It shows a lot about what goes into the special effects and makeup :)
So happy you did this themed month of reactions!!! Looking forward to some more festive music in the coming weeks! Also: if you want one last spooky-ish video from Voiceplay, I think their Aca Top 10 villains video falls into the spooky season category
God, I went downstairs when I heard the first yowl because I thought it was my cat, went down to find him sleeping his usual spot, hunted around the house to see if another cat got in through the flap, sat back down to continue watching only for another yowl to occur and you to scold YOUR cat off-screen. Heck.
Just seen this reaction. I love watching reactions of this song. About to check out your oogie boogie reaction next. I went as The Fiend two years ago, then a lamp last year.
Please react to pentatonix dance of the sugar plum fairy. Its kinda christmasy and also halloween-ish at the same time. I hope you enjoy it and have a great day
I love this Video so much of Voiceplay . I drew 2 Portraits of Geoff (The Bass) and Layne(The Beatboxer) in There Costumes they wore in this Videos on my Instagram . And I'm going to be inspires version of Lock ( one of Oogies Henchmen) from the Nightmare before Christmas on a Halloween Party .
Eli is the real star of this one. Probably why it gets less attention than Oogie Boogie. He's severely underappreciated by the Geoff focused voiceplay fans. Great to see someone check it out.
I don’t really remember any of my costumes growing up. There was nothing really special about any of them. But about 15 years ago, I dressed like a scarecrow and just sat motionless in an armchair on our front porch. Then whenever someone came to the door, I’d come to life, and scare the crap out of them. 😈😂🤣😛😜🤪
I just love your reactions - so... true and genuine! Fantastic! And if someone ever ask me a question "How women react on Geoff's voice?" I would simply share a link to your video and say "check this out, 6:00 - 6:10" ;D I think that would be the most universal answer xD your whole expression - absolutely gorgeous!
I went as The Baron from VoicePlay's Queen in 5 Minutes (without the makeup or props because school) because that was the only character from that video who I had the clothes to go as in my closet. ;)
Youtubing Jaguar I believe all the doctors are greata in their own way (even Jodie who has a lot of potential) it’s just the 12th Doctor’s journey of starting as cold and calculating to fun and badass reflects a similar journey I have been. So he’s my fav
Sadly Halloween isn’t really a thing here, though it’s picking up a little. So I’ve no Halloween memories to speak of :( it looks like so much fun though. I’d honestly celebrate for the whole month.
