Welcome to Reactionize - our quest to react and review every single Def Leppard track! It's a long, fun journey, so we hope you'll stay with us.
Today we do another track from Def Leppard's 2006 release, 'Yeah'. A collection of cover songs that showcased Def Leppard's musical influences that help shape their signature sound. One of those bands was a British glam band, The Sweet (soon changed to just Sweet in the early 70's). Sweet racked up thirteen Top 20 hits in the 70's, with today's song, 'Hell Raiser' from their 'Live at the Rainbow 1973 - The Complete Concert', which was recorded from the Rainbow Theatre in London.
Did Def Leppard do Sweet's, 'Hell Raiser' justice? Do you like the original more or are you a fan of Leppard's version? Are you a fan of the Yeah album in general? Comment below and let us know your thoughts and we'll be sure to banter back and forth with you!
Cheers, enjoy Reactionize, and as always...ROCK ON!
