The fact that some people thought they're above the law because they're lawyers calls for a rethink of the kind of democracy we practice in Nigeria. In respect to the issue of protest, it could be seen here that Mr. Femi Falana [ SAN] would hate himself if he could have a time to rewatch this interview of his. With respect to the learned silk, common sense should have taught him that there's not calling a peaceful protest in the world. What you would call a peaceful protest would definitely snowball into a violence whether or not the hoodlums hijack it. Femi Falana was seen championing the cause of protest before it actually launched. With him was Mr. Ebun Adegboruwa [ SAN]. Funny enough, Mr. Adegboruwa received a blow from the protesters he said he was soliciting for when they refused to listen to his call for the suspension of the protest. Now that the protesters have taken the protest to another dimension which Mr. Femi Falana never envisaged by opening calling for the military intervention to hijack our democracy which he Feminine Falana fought for, Mr. Femi Falana is now secretly blaming his conscience for supporting the ongoing protest. Mr. Femi Falana [SAN] should know that there are thousands of ways of fighting the government and compel it to exercise its constitutional duties to the citizenry without adopting the option of hanarchy and brutish in our land.

The major difference between the northern and southern protest is the poverty/hunger level in the land. North has abject poverty/hunger while in the south is a little bit fair for now.
