Sequel fanboys: "nobody hates star wars more than star wars fans" They spread those lies when in reality nobody hates anything, everyone just hates the sequels and they try to make us seem like the bad guys lmao, everyone LOVES star wars when its not the sequels, just look at the new shows, bad batch, ahsoka, mando, everyone loves them, and how many of them are set in the sequels? NONE, ZERO, LETS FUCKING GO
It's the new hot chick, granted, but don't dismiss the spectacular sound of a lightsaber and of a tie fighter. What people like about seismic charges ain't the bomb sound, it's the silence right before it blows. So technically, people aren't impressed about the sound, they're impressed by silence.
@@CarcPazu I have to say seismic chargers are the greatest sound because its a low booming frequency versus the high pitched frequency of the tie fighters.
@@kaciebarrick2952 lol we're really talking about nothing here. It's like saying that Skrillex is better than Black Sabbath because skrillex as sub basses. This argument is pointless.
The sound of the seismic charge is amazing but what really make it special is the fact that everything turns into dead silence then you hear the explosion.
The fact that they kept in the complete silence before it detonates just shows that some people at Disney respect their fans! Didn’t have some OTT music or overreactions from characters - just that perfect silence before the bass drop
Without a doubt. You get such joy hearing both of those. If I got a Garand, I would be ejecting the clip all day long, or doing it the way you can in your hand
@@sambridgers9543 yea but like darth maul, seismic charges, dooku, grevious, padme, qui gon, etc. they gave us so many amazing characters and additions to the franchise.
You know, there's a very easy way to hear the sound 20 times without having to watch this video. Buy an iPad. Watch the video once. Throw it into a lake, and claim warranty coverage. Repeat 20 times. I mean, it's illegal and immoral to do so, but what's jail or a conscience anyway?
I remember seeing AotC when I was a kid. 5 year old me thought the seismic charge was the coolest thing ever. It was so great seeing the seismic charge once again. I felt like that kid watching AotC with my dad, just blown away by the sound and the visuals.
For "professional" Star Wars fans I'm surprised the number of them that failed to know this & even more so the ones who didn't know what Slave 1 was called that it was used by Boba's dad Jango in Attack Of The Clones to try to take out Obi-Wan
@@RickDawg527 I only watch a few of them. Louise Julie seems to know her stuff the best out of all of them. She's also wearing the Boba Fett xmas jumper.
Well, I was one them until a week ago! 🤣🤣😂🤣 I left StarWars after ROTJ .., almost 40 years ago. I came back because of Baby Yoda. But then the show, the plot, Mando hooked me! I became a huge Mandalorian fan overnight. I never really knew Boba Fett or Jango Fett. The only Mandalorian I was familiar with is Din Jarin. I had to look up the weaponry of Slave 1 (which I just learned last week that slave 1 used to belong to Jango) on the internet to see what all the excitement was about. There it is .... a seismic blast !!!
My reaction : Chilling in front of the episode while holding my Baby Yoda like the woman at 1:53, then I said "please drop a seismic charge" like the guy at 3:23, then I screamed like the girl at 5:02, and finally I said to my friend "best star wars sound effect" like the dude at 3:13 😀
My nerd arrogance flares when people don’t recognize exactly what they’re watching! I’m so ashamed. At the same time I’m happy that new fans get to experience seismic charges!
It's disappointing to see there's that many "fans" that do not know or remember what a seismic charge is. It's honestly one of the coolest things/noises the prequels gave us
Alejandro Herrera I was hoping to see our reaction in there (it's on our channel video on the episode) because we LOST OUR MINDS but I understand why it isn't as we really are just Starting out
I try to give them the benefit of a doubt, many of them are newer fans. Rather than criticize them I'd rather point them to source material in hopes of guiding them to be even bigger fans
@@leonardmccain668 true, when I do a Star Wars marathon I usually skip episodes 1 and 2. It's too cringey for me. So I barely remember details like those. All I remember is the sand dialogue and jango's head being chopped off, and some scenes on kamino. I usually jump straight into revenge of the sith and stop at episode 6
I'll never forget hearing the seismic charge for the first time in the theater! Surprised the hell out of me when the theater went silent and then suddenly BOOOOM 😂! Star Wars always had the best sound effects!
Doesn't Matter If Young or old, new or Longtime Fan: everyone loves this bomb everyone loves Boba. You can Just feel, great Design. They should have Made 7-9. Not Kennedy and the Others.
I recognized the bomb cause it's part of the last few Hasbro 3 3/4" Slave 1's lol. I'm a *major* OG (seen Jedi in theatres in '83/collecting Star Wars for 37 years) fan...but not a fan of the prequels. That's why I didn't _quite_ remember it, but still somehow kinda knew. So you can be a super crazy big Star Wars fan, and have no clue cause you're from the original generation. Nothing against the last eight Star Wars movies, but they're not _my_ movies. But thank The Emperor all mighty for The Mandalorian!
I remember these seismic bombs very well. I had just got a new 5.1 Soundsystem and I watched (and listened!) this scene about a hundred times. Still gives me goosebumps. I loved it. And my neighbours hated it. Thats why I like the mandalorian, it takes me back to the good old times.
@@michaelberry1382 I can live with that... As long as they knew what it was/where it was from, even if they didn’t know the name. But you know the badwagoner fans when they don’t even know what it is after it explodes.
I love that this scene really highlights the true hardcore fans from those who are only casual viewers or brand new entirely yet at the same time is loved by everyone! Honestly the last two episodes of the mandalorian have been my favourite so far.
I love the mixture of reactions, how some people knew exactly what was happening and others didn't. Especially at 10:21 and how genuine that reaction was. "What was that?" "I don't know but that was awesome 👏 " The seismic charges are just universally so fucking cool!
What I love most is (I know for myself) I grew up loving that sound not even knowing it was a universal thing. So that proves it’s genuinely a cool thing and not just something where we all jump on the band wagon and say we like it. Like we all grew up individually loving it and have now realised we aren’t alone 😂😂
Top 5 Star Wars sounds 1.) Slave 1 seismic charge 2.) Clone's Wilhelm scream 3.) B1 battledroid "Roger, Roger" 4.) Igniting of a lightsaber 5.) General Grevious cough
I watched Attack of the Clones with my dad in theatres (all the prequels with my dad) and them throwing this in The Mandalorian was so wholesome to me. Yeah, the Padme/Anakin scenes were rough, but Jango was so awesome, and when the Clones swooped in to save the Jedi, both of us jumped out of our seats screaming "YEEEEEEAAAAH!!" We also played Star Wars Battlefront 2 original together. Anytime we watched Star Wars at home, I would tell my dad "WE WERE THERE!!!"
the guy who came up with the idea of adding seismic charge from the prequels into this episode is patting himself on the back rn from so many people getting that reference. and i mean that with joy in my heart
it is actually pretty useful to know who actually saw Star Wars and which streamers are fake ( fake streamer reaction show that they never saw Star Wars the movies). thanks you mixed reactions
