This is better than the video I made 3 years ago.. right?
ReactOS is an open source effort to create a fully custom OS that is binary compatible with Microsoft Windows and could one day be a fully compatible open source 'drop in' replacement for windows as a whole.. though as you're about to see its.. not quite there yet.

When it gets to "Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE", that means that the OS is corrupted. So, a fresh install is needed to get it working again. The issue is mostly that there's no automatic registry recovering like there is in Window Server 2003 and up. When that's implemented, it won't appear as often (depending on the level of file system corruption).

The number of times you had to do a fresh install trying to get it to work means they have finally perfected the OS and it is a 100% accurate reproduction of Windows.

Also, its better to not install 3rd party drivers (unless the driver is in ReactOS Application Manager). The majority of them will cause ReactOS to BSOD.

reactOS devs use a Dell Latitude D531 if you have one of those it should work best, probably.

I own this exact laptop, I don't know why you used a CD since it supports USB booting, unless it's an older bios version or something, still cool though, I ended up accidentally breaking part of the drive caddy because of how difficult it is
