Reading a book a day for a month straight 

I love that you did not just pick short books. Even though you did not "succeed" in the way you wanted. It was soo refreshing to see someone not just pick up 200-300 page books

Its funny you just posted this! I just started this goal 2 days ago. ITs actually because planning to run a marathon this sept with an 18 week Nike marathon training app and I decided to go to the library to get books about marathon training and there was soo many interesting and good books to choose from that I ended up checking out 35 of them! My goal is to read on of them a day but if I dont achieve that my goal is to make sure I finish reading all 35 by the marathon race. Which im sure I can accomplish. By the end of it I will be an expert on the topic and it will also make me train better knowing more advice, tips and how to prevent injuries and by learning from others who have already run the race before me. I got books about running, marathon training, marathons around the world and biographies about runners. Im not a fan of reading fictional books and tbh with hyperactive and I dont like to read books too often tbh , but when I have a special interest I can hyperfocus and its my main interest so since im into marathons atm I can actually focus on reading when im reading about that topic. I also got half the books in english and half in french. So instead of brushing up on french vocab in a very boring way Im getting to read books about my main interest in french. I youtube searched to see if others had read 30 books in 30 days and saw your video. Good job on compleating your goal!

I also read graphic novels of the classics. Its easier imo. Although I had to soft DNF the graphic novel of 1984. I was not in the correct headspace for that one 😅

I did this once, ended up reading 28 in 31 days (it was august)... i didnt plan well enough. For ex, i usually abhor short story collections, i picked on up absentmindedly, not knowing it is short stories (in arabic they dont really specify these stuff on the cover). I read about 4 or 5 short classics which was also a bad idea but these werent what slowed me down necessarily. My rule was under 300 pages but honestly should have been under 220-250 pages. I also should have made a list before going into it. But what i think saved it and me was reading a bunch of books at once. So it wasnt necessarily about today opening a book and finishing it, but like a bunch of books finishing at various times to contibute to the final goal and that was so helpful bc i didn't accidentally put myself in a slump as a result , bc the options i had followed my mood.
