Hello Berna,thank you so much for your lovely tribute to my darling daughter Alice. I'm so glad she was able to support you in a troubled time,she was always so kind and caring and I know how much she enjoyed reading with you and valued your discussions. I cannot even imagine your loss… I am just wishing you and your family lots of patience to deal with this tragedy.. Thanks for your lovely comment… Alice was one of my dear friends who I felt closest to in terms of our reading tastes but most importantly she was an incredibly kind, sweet and clever friend.

Thank you… They were both great people, very good friends and their love for Agatha Christie inspired me to talk about my favorite author even more freely. I miss dear Janelle and ı still prefer mysteries liked by Janelle in Goodreads when choosing mysteries to read…

Alice will be sorely missed in the Booktube community, she was very special, knowledgeable and fun. I have added an Agatha Christie to my July TBR in memory of Alice.

Berna, do you have other books to suggest? Or can you type the books you read with Alice? I would like to read something in her honor, but I am not up for serial killers right now. Thank you for sharing this idea. I am so sad about Alice. So very, very sad.

She was very much loved in the community… Among the books we buddy read, I think the short story Don’t Look Now by Daphne du Maurier was the best (aside from the serial killer book) But I think reading an Agatha Christie book and especially a Poirot mystery would be the best, she was a big fan of the character. Her favorite Poirot was Five Little Pigs which I also loved when I finally read it.
