On Saturday, July 5th, Rotary of Mountain Top sponsored a passenger excursion to Jim Thorpe on the Reading and Northern Railroad, powered by the railroad's former Gulf Mobile & Northern 4-6-2 #425. On this day, 425 sports a Southern 3-chime longbell, which sounds incredible echoing through the mountains. Please enjoy the sights and sounds of the Reading and Northern steam program at it's finest!
