On October 23rd and 24th of 2021, Reading and Northern 4-6-2 #425 was assigned to the fall foliage trains that ran between Reading and Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. This loud pacific puts on an absolutely outstanding show as she climbs the grade from Reading to Hometown, and coasts downgrade into Jim Thorpe. As well as the return trip, 425 works up Hometown Hill, and glides downhill at track speed back to Reading. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend, and with no sun, it made the locations even easier to capture. Lets follow 425 as she makes her round trip journey on "The Autumn Leaf Limited" from Reading to Jim Thorpe and back. Enjoy!
