It’s so touching to hear your work read in your own voice. When I read the text of your poems I read it in my own inner voice, my own accent, at my own pace. I suppose that is itself a type of translation. Hearing your read them is like hearing them in their original form, belonging to you, before they become that self sufficient entity that poetry becomes once it touches the reader and becomes personal to her.

6:39 i had to rewind because this transition to the next piece was * so seamless * i thought it was just the beginning of an intermediary story! one of the biggest things that has drawn me to your poetry is your natural tone. it feels like having a conversation with a close friend, which just adds to the sweet softness of where these poems take us. i love it so much ☆
