Hey Zach, Your videos makes whitewater boating simple and easy to understand. An additional advantages of avoiding the pourovers is you are more likely to get your boat stuck, since the water is typically more shallow.
I liked this lesson. One thing you could add, especially for that last example, is that when you have two valid options, it's a good idea to choose the one that is more likely to set you up better for the next obstacle/move/eddy.

As a beginning rower one of my biggest unknowns is judging which holes will be problematic and which will be easy to get through. A potential useful follow up to this video would be evaluating holes during a scout. Thanks again!
I'm not sure if that video is really possible. Whether or not you can run a hole is highly dependent on too many factors including your boat type and size. I would suggest going into smaller ones and working your way up to bigger one. Learning to surf really helps too.
