Reading Luis Rivera's Interview Pt3 re: Law Professor Dan Markel Murder 

Every time I see one of these podcasts, I discover something new about this case. It's really fascinating, but more than that, it is so heartbreaking.

After hearing this, it is so clear how much of a role addiction played in this murder. I can’t help but wonder what Siegfried and Louis would have been like minus the addictions. Really sad how many lives were destroyed. The Adelson’s on the other hand are a whole other thing.

When Rivera says, "What she doing up here?", I agree with Debbie. She said it sounds like Rivera thought Wendi lived in South FL. He thought she had come all the way from Miami to oversee it

Wow this felt sooooo stressful to hear particularly around 21:57 & 22:55 minutes it is painful it hurts. How can someone do someting so horrific n keep on driving?

So Katie actually says she's communicating with Wendy the Witch on the day of the shooting. Unreal

First visit to Tallahassee Wendi trusted them and she was so disappointed the attempt failed that the second time she personally showed up at Dan's house the day before the murder to let them know this time they're supervised. It's only then that she learnt LR accompanied SG. WA was obsessed with getting this done. It seems like the first failed attempt only escalated her obsession.

The Adelsons may have thought KM got them a reduced price to have their dirty work done by an ultra professional assassin - via her 'special connection' with the Miami 'underground'. Perhaps Charlie did know who KM hired at the time - but at the moment I doubt it. While Charlie probably had visions of a slick character from movies like 'The Mechanic' - it was actually 'Laurel and Hardy' on their way to devastation for all in Tallahassee. I also believe that the only honorable and decent person the Adelsons had in their miserable lives at that time was Dan Markel - but they were too greedy to notice.

I love that all these channels have come together for the Markel’s. IMHO Carl has called this. I really think Georgia used Charlie as a test case, so to speak, to build on evidence to get Wendi in the end. Now Donna’s trial… Charlie has sealed that deal w his bs double extortion. DR has to stick w it. My question is, do you think Donna will say that the extortion is true and she believed her son? Or will she say she believed her son but now after the trial she thinks he did pay and she only covered for her son b/c she believed his stupid story? Will she throw Charlie under the bus to save Wendi? Or will she stick w the double extortion? What will mommy do? Save her daughter or herself?

Judy did you listen to the jail calls from 11/8/23? Or 11/9/23? Where Donna is losing it about the Markel’s? They, I believe, are talking about the grandparent’s visit, and how they don’t hug or kiss them? That it was all a stunt for Ruth M’s book signing? Then Donna’s hatred comes shining thru and she says, paraphrasing, “this their plans to get the kids all along. They’re coming after us to get the kids.” Donna is implying that the state or the Markel’s, I think she’s saying the Markel’s, but that the prosecutions/investigations of the Adelson’s is all about getting the kids away from the Adelson’s. Custody. When Donna is talking about this “plan” you can hear the venom she has for the Markel’s. I hope LE has eyes on everyone. I worry they may try something again…. 💔 all these kids, the lives the Adelson’s have touched, and maybe ruined, just for this. It’s heartsick

I wonder, Judy, does the police officer now know that he was the cop that didn't arrest Rivera and only gave him a citation? I'm referring to the fact that they, the killers, got pulled over before the bump. Because if they would have arrested Rivera for his warrant maybe this murder would not have happened. Why did this cop not arrest Rivera?

See, you did fantastic. They still have to tie Katie to Charlie and Charlie to Wendi and that's her case behind bars .Really that phone call only Wendi would know. Also, am very interested in finding out when Wendi could call her mom from the police station on the 18th. Were they already on the road giving the money to Charlie. Thought she gave a time, I know he said 10 mins. That would mean they were on their way to Tallahassee before Wendi was allowed to call them from the police station. Did they know and get an early start? Who told them deed was done? Charlie. Wendi when she did her crime scene? Who and when?

Can Donna and Wendi just be indicted already? Isn’t there enough evidence at least for a grand jury? I mean Wendi’s deposition with invoking the 5th for almost every question….do innocent people do that?

I believe Luis saw Wendi. The lady PI that’s been on STS said LR really saw Wendi. But at the trials LR’s memory and intellect doesn’t come across as well b/c I remember at one trial a lawyer said LR saw her walking into the house or on the driveway. But LR said he just saw her walking w the kids, saw her get on the phone, while looking thru the rearview mirror, that Wendi got on the phone. And the convo at the hotel where SG tells LR that KM said Wendi was there and DM was leaving the next day. I believe KM is lying still or her memory is very bad. Her proffer shows she’s still trying to minimize her actions. Is there anyway KM is still being manipulated by the Adelson’s? I know she flipped but it just seems she is still protecting Wendi….🤷🏼‍♀️

Also, Katie, according to Rivera, said Katie went and paid her mothers $2000.00 rent. Did the mother ever wonder where Katie got the money? Her mother would have had to know that her daughter was involved with some shady people including the father of Katie's kids.
