I've seen people confuse "adjective" with "adverb" a lot, and even with "noun" on occasion. But confusing it for "synonym," that's a new one.

Genuinely one of the best comments I’ve seen was on a pm Seymour community post, it was a little get to know me bio and someone asked “what’s that pride flag?” And pm responded “that’s Ireland my friend” like oh yes, my favourite gender, Irish. (I don’t remember if that’s what the flag was, but it was something with 3 colours of stripes)

1:00 like I can see how they got confused because “narc” can be confused for a shortening of “narcissist” and some people consider it ableist to use that word to call someone as an insult because in recent years it became the name of a mental disorder (narcissistic personality disorder) and that word being associated with it causes people with NPD to be demonized. It’s just one of those things that most people who would be affected by it don’t really care that much about it but if you do care you have to explain it for anyone to take you seriously. Also it’s been demonized because of a debunked theory of “narcissistic abuse” that is very popular in pop-psych. While some symptoms of the disorder can make someone abusive it doesn’t mean everyone with the disorder is abusive. Also it is entirely possible for people to recover from the disorder because it is a collection of trauma responses and some genetic factors that can be helped with medication and psychotherapy.

On the topic of someone complaining about the Alastor Cosplayer, I’ve seen people complain about that type of thing, like complaining about people using Can’t Be Erased by JT Music to edit Bill Cipher because “iT’s a BeNdY SoNg AnD sHoUlD oNlY bE uSeD fOr ThAt FaNdOm!!1!” because someone asked for an edit. I never understood why people complain about. Like Cosplayers and Editors are just using songs and other audios because they fit whatever character they are editing or cosplaying. It’s not that deep.

To be fair, I agree with that first one. If you're gonna ban someone, tell them why so they can either learn to be better or defend themselves from a false accusation. It's like arresting someone without telling them what they're being charged with.

Out of these, the one I find the most humorously perplexing is "I unsubbed and disliked when I realized you made this" because they would've had to subscribe to someone they actively disliked first in order to then unsubscribe from them. Like an "I hate you, but either not enough to stop following your content until now, or so MUCH hate that I would appease the algorithm for the sole purpose of then taking it away from you afterwards".
