I was on prednisone for a while too, the fluid retention is insane. These people are too stupid to understand that medicine can have drastic effects on your body. You don’t need these haters. Your makeup is still beautiful and you are still beautiful.

People are so ignorant. I am a nurse and fluid retention is a legitimate thing especially since your kidneys aren’t removing those toxins and then to make matters worse, you’re on steroids which bloats the heck out of people. People don’t realize that fluid retention can’t just be removed from exercise and the person who said to drink more fluids is a dumbass when most people who have retention have to LIMIT their fluids. People will not understand until they see pitting edema in a person’s extremities and fluids weeping out of the skin.

I have gained 50 lbs (in water retention) since I started my recent medication. I can’t even look at myself in photos, let alone fit in my clothes. I admire you so much for embracing yourself and showing us your journey. You are so beautiful inside and out, and you make me feel less alone.

My sweet love, why are you reading these? Come on now, this isn't good and it won't do any good. Unfortunately, you get a lot of young kids who just spew out the most horrendous things on the internet. The comments will continue because unfortunately many people out there just aren't nice and the internet has a way of bringing out the shit of the world. I would try to not read comments for a bit, not because of any other reason other than its not good. Those comments would hurt anyone, even the strongest of people (which you are) and it isn't good for you mentally or your health.
