Specific book rec: Folk horror that feels like a fever dream. Mix in some Studio Ghibli Vibes:) I have read Slewfoot and loved it. I feel like I have been chasing that high ever since. I also really adore your channel:)

Ooh I have to concur although I do disagree about the SG vibes. But I was so blown away by that book! Definitely an all-time favorite, I was so nervous I wouldn’t like it.

I really need to try reading any of Emily Henry books 📚 The short story collection is definitely on my Tbr from now! I know how it feels when you are trying to grow out your hair, and they are at the stage where you hate it. 💖

The partial eclipse was likely too bright to photograph without a solar filter for your camera lens. The flare in the photo is probably a good gauge of what you would have seen with eclipse glasses.

Specific book recommendations video: I would love if you had any recommendations for books with the similar vibe to bunny or wilder girls. I read zombie blondes as a child and have been obsessed ever since but I'm on the hunt for more gross girlhood books. Would be forever grateful 🩷 thankyou!

I think one of my most anticipated books was the second godkiller book and it did not disappoint. I'm new to your channel so if you or anyone In the Comments havnt read godkiller yet- highly recommend!

I think the reason why I personally liked An education in malice is because I haven't read Carmilla so I didnt have any expectations for it, it isn't a book I think about often but I did have a fantastic time reading it

Sadly an education in malice is my worst reviewed book so far this year. I wonder if I should still try a dowry in blood cause others have told me it is much better?

I waited a long time to get a copy of Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno Garcia. It was disapopinting, a little too derivative of her other books. I still love her but it was a disappointment.

I agree. I still haven't read mexican gothic but I'm definitely less excited about it after reading Silver Nitrate
