New paint, in deed. It is much better quality paint, too. I personally love the way it looks now. I am surprised that you could tell that the bell has been changed. It has been swapped for a similar, slightly lower pitched bell.
@@fuscoproductions According to always I have to compare the sounds of those years and I always realize and one thing I am Mexican but I am studying a lot in English and I am doing well but I like the trains thanks for your attention
I know this question doesn't fit the video as 425 doesn't have the RDG 6 chime equipped, but is it just me or did the pitch of the RDG 6 chime change? Like, on the more recent videos, the whistle is deeper and a little sharper, back then from 2008-2015, the RDG 6 chime was slightly higher pitch and more melodic. Does anybody know if the whistle was modified or does the R&N have two RDG 6 chimes?
The crew of 425 often swap out the whistles with ones from their own private collections. I can think of at least four different Reading 6 chimes owned by different employees of the R&N. Each whistle is slightly different, as you have noticed.
Trains Of Kansas not sure I understand the question. R&N offers seasonal steam excursions on special occasions. 425 operates usually on select dates. Most consistently it runs two weekends in October, and on Christmas runs (as shown here), as well as a smattering of other occasions like the Fourth of July, Schuylkill Haven Borough Days, and occasionally some other trips here and there.
