@@zofiabures2034 personally I would read the Caraval series before just because some things that happen in Caraval are mention in Once Upon A Broken Heart. And this series is about Evangeline and Jacks, and Jacks is a character we meet in Legendary I think, so you can see more about him as a character if you read the Caraval series first. While I don't think it's technically necessary to read it first, I would recommend that people do. Hope this helps!

I think Carrie Soto is Back was one of the options you wrapped. I know it may be controversial but I actually really enjoyed that book! It made me want to go out and learn tennis even though I have never played. I am also reading BTTM right now and LOVING IT ❤
You should read A Thousand Heartbeats by Kiera Cass!! Amazing clean YA romance book! Based in a kingdom, has a strong princess main character, and a protective assassin type male character! Beautifully written, a little comical, and very good at pulling the heart strings ❤️!
The ballad of never after is my all time favorite for sure. It’s soooo good. I didn’t love once upon a broken heart and I have a hard time with series but I’m so happy I kept going. The ballad of never after is truly an amazing book.

I would love to see a reading through the Bible series. I feel like that would be super interesting, especially the Old Testament because the story of Israel kinda reads like an epic

are you going to read carrie soto is back from the video? i surprisingly enjoyed it, didn’t think i would but i rlly loved the characters and while the plot isn’t amazing, it defo picks up a lot throughout the book. also if you ever try a naomi novik book i recommend a deadly education! world building is a bit confusing but i loved the characters, harry potter vibes

Sadly, I couldn't really get warm with the Once Upon A Broken Heart series so far (read both books already, I loved the Caraval trilogy beforehand) so every time someone raves about those two books, I feel like we read completely different books 😶 But oh well, that's how different tastes are, right

I almost exclusively listen to audiobooks while reading along now. It helps me stay focused and continue "reading" even when I need to get up and take care of things.
unrelated but i just finished the atlas paradox and it was so dissapointing... i loved the atlas six and i am so so sad that this book felt completely different. the plot was barely nonexistent and the main conflict regarding libby was dragged on for so long. the characters just didn’t feel like themselves at some points and they just acted weird like atlas and tristan were just acting so weird. the author also completely erased the chemistry between libby and nico and nico’s love interest now makes no sense in my opinion. idk if it’s a me thing but the plot also made no sense to me i was so confused. the writing is great as always but i was so disappointed ugh. i hope the last book in the series is better and wraps everything well :(
I feel like “Before we were strangers” by Renee Carlino might a good book for Hayley. It has that soulmate love, some sad moments but not too sad. Its hopeful and ends well in my opinion.

One of my favorite book of all time is Under the Magnolias by T.I. Lowe. It deals with heavier topics, but I absolutely fell in love with it and the main character! I definitely want to read Last Time We Met now! ❤

I can't bear audiobooks... I get distracted so easily... And I don't think it should be considered proper reading because of course you're listening and not reading and you can speed up the audio and sounds like cheating...
I am the same way, listening to a book I can never focus. I also don't know how people can speed up books because you wouldn't speed up a song or a movie... I feel like it loses its nuance. However, I do think it still counts as reading, because you're consuming the same story, also for blind folks it's the only way they can read so it's not fair to say they aren't reading. Not every book is available in brail.

I feel completely catfished about the once upon a broken heart series, it is so so bad omg :( Its a good thing theyre fast reads, so i dont feel like ive wasted too much of my time. Im currently slogging through book 3, cant make up my mind if i should just dnf, but ive gotten this far.. Theres just no substance to this what so ever, its such a let down.
