@@lindaamarie which was exactly my point when replying to the person as to why we might not be able to read as many books as her...I didn't intend for it to come off as rude if it did.
Same for me the usual reasons why I stopped in the middle of countless series is either because I don't have all of the books or I lost interest for a while then wanted to get back to reading it but I forgot everything and therefore felt like I had to reread the first books
Haley, you are absolutely amazing! You have helped decrease my anxiety, get back into my devotions and Bible, and inspire me to continue back on writing my first ever book! You are truly a gift from God!
I'm reading ToG for the first time and I finished Assassin's Blade last night. I read it after Heir of Fire and I whole heartedly agree with this route. There are so many lines and circumstances that hit so much harder when you've read the first three books.
I started with Assassin's Blade as it was more like a prequel for Throne of glass. It took me 3 days to stop my shakiness of what happened to you know who. Another few days to stop rethinking about torture. Finally my body is ready for Throne of glass. I am glad I read Assassins blade first because it gave backstory...powerful...heartbreaking..traumatizing backstory that now I can root for Caelina. before I didnt like her almost quit series. But by the end of Assassins blade, I cant wait to see her revenge (look up trigger warning before reading Assassins blDE)
Thank you for these book videos. College ruined me and I haven't finished a fiction book in YEARS (possibly like 10). After writing down several of your recommendations, I went to my local library and snagged a few. I read "Five Survive" in less than two days! You have encouraged me to start reading again, and I can't wait to start another book. :)
I just found you and I’ve been an avid reader all my life but lately I’ve been in a reading slump. I recently started reading Six of Crows and your channel is the one pushing me out of my slump 💕
I've been in a reading slump due to of school I don't have time to even open yt so watching this is giving me motivation to try to pick up my book. Love you haleyy!! ❤️❤️❤️
okay the carrie can read recap is so real🫢🫢 i love her recaps sm because when i read a book over three months ago i literally forget almost everything except the basic plot, so they are a real lifesaver😭😭😭
We need a home Tour cause it's looks so cozy , inspiring!! + Can you do second part of this video where you finish HP series and my brilliant friend ( that's if you have read the first book) love you!
I loved the truly devious trilogy! My favorite book was actually the fourth, The Box in the Woods. While it's technically a standalone, I view it as part of the series because it has many of the same characters. I definitely recommend it!
I’m really loving your videos. They are so calming and happy. Like a safe place. 😌😊 Just saying thank you, and a happy and a healthy new year! Be safe!
I recommend 'The Dresden Files' by Jim Butcher. The first book is set in the late 90's or early 2000's and Harry Dresden is a PI in Chicago. He is also a wizard. There are quite a few books in the series and its not completed. The author also has a completed 6 book series that is really good called 'Codex Alera'. That one's plot is really hard to summarize but its really amazing.
I'm retrying TOG too! For some reason I remember queen of shadows being such a let down but my second time around proved it wasn't true at all. Not finished yet but so far its really good!
I salute your persisitence and focus. I have a real problem with finishing a series, even if I loved the earlier books. I think I partly don't want it to end, and I also fear I won't like it as much as I hope. Also, attention span issues....
⚠️⚠️Book recommendation ⚠️⚠️ (I swear this soooo good) YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER BY SARAH HOGLE -Multiple family and relationship dynamics About losing and finding love again Puts down 'easy love' stereotypes Healthy communication and working towards a relationship
I don’t know if you’ve ever read the Mark of the Lion series. But they’re my absolute favorites. So beautifully written and so grounding to read and reread!
Love ur videos. I would love to recommend u the burn for burn book/book series by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian, which is basically about three friends that are completely different types of people all of them wants revenge so bad. Idk just love the book. I am not really a big fan of the second book called Fire with Fire…anyways.
Ur videos are so comforting, I was just in a reading slump( I really don't know why), Huge bundles of love❤❤ for u. Also, the truly devious series is the best one I have really read
I started reading the harry potter series when i was on second grade but as i remembered everything from the movies i stopped, I started to continue the series now even though i remember a lot and i'm so happy the details are so great loved this video
SO happy to find that i get free audiobooks with spotify premium!!! its helped a lot since the reason why i dont read most of the time is pure laziness and listening is easier!!
I really recommend the divergent trilogy because it is a distopiyan with a little romance. It’s soooo good 100% recommend it’s probaly good for 12+ in my opinion. The inheritance games is also a good book series
I can always rely on any books you love being something I’ll love, too. The way you explained your feelings on A Curse for True Love was so spot on, I totally agree. I rated the first book 4.5, second book flying past 5 stars (I am not mentally okay), and then 4.5 for the last. I loved it, but I just wish so badly that we got more tension and time with Jacks. The end definitely did feel like a fever dream, I feel like I almost “trust” ABONA more than I do ACFTL. A little disappointing, but I still love that series to death. Cant wait to read Caraval.
I just saw Better than the movies at Barnes and Noble but my mom said I couldn’t get it since I was already getting crave and the short second life of Bree Tanner. I was there and I was like Hayley recommended that book! With every other book I saw lmao
love love loved this video. a few series I’ve been debating reading that I think I will pick up now. BUT on the topic of throne of glass. I’m currently reading it for the first time. I’m on queen of shadows right now, and I read assassin’s blade after heir of fire and personally I think that was the absolute best way to read it. the payoff was so satisfying
thank the gods that haley posted today bc i just finished watching good omens and i needed something to fulfil the next 10 minutes and 45 seconds of my now meaningless life
Ooo yayyy I’ve been waiting for you to post a review for ACFTL! I completely agree! It was a bit disappointing, because I still have a lot of unanswered questions but I still of course love the series. ❤I’m just so happy Jacks and Evangeline finally got their happy ever after! I can’t wait for Stephanie Garber to write more books, because her writing is so good! By the way I love your channel so much ❤
sooo excited for you to read TOG and fall in love its my favourite SJM series!! I also read AB 4th and I think it was perfect for everything that came after. I think reading AB first is good for people who find the beginning of the series hard to get into 😊
