Here's a very short video about reading the heat map before news event and identifying equity that is resting on the order book. In this video you'll see I have identified resting liquidity above and below with most of the liquidity being on the selling side. Just before the news event we can see some of the selling liquidity take a move down to join the other sellers to create a large selling wall. During the news event we had positive news which brought in plenty of buyers that was able to take us right through this sell wall and take us all the way up to our target resting liquidity.
