A Little Life is the most beauiful, heart wrenching, joyous, fucked up book I have ever read. You read it once and you can't stop thinking about it.

I'm currently reading A Year of Magical Thinking and if you look closely at the cover, the letters J, O, H, and N are in blue... I don't know if it's common knowledge but thought I'd mention. Such a special lil touch.

I never finished ‘The Year of Magical Thinking’ as when I got into it a couple of years ago I was reading it on my commute to work, and I couldn’t keep crying on the train. This has definitely made me decide to pick it up again!

A Little Life was too much information and too slow (for me, personally). Did cry at the end though, it was a very sad book.
