My birthday was on Friday and I feel the same way. I called it birthday malaise and it is worse every year I get older. I think it has something to do with not being in an environment where I’m surrounded by a ton of friends so the celebration feels small and also it just reminds me that I am in a phase of my life where I’m just not surrounded by a ton of people my own age anymore

I get how you feel about birthdays omg. I absolutely dreaded my 18th cause I didn’t wanna get older. And I always end up crying in the evening cause things always seem to go wrong?? Lol

I have the same feeling towards birthdays but mine is more so because I don't feel important enough to be celebrated?? It's a really weird feeling but it makes me dread the day it approaches. 💔

I love the fact this vlog brought me so much comfort and joy! YESSS, i'm so glad you're getting into the cdrama realm; trust me you'll be addicted in an instant! Unfortunately I don't watch kdramas and cdramas as frequently as I used to but I'll always remember those amazing moments of my time watching them. I feel the exact same way about birthdays. Birthdays should be a special moment to celebrate but the concepts of growing older and/or celebrating one annually, especially when you have little to no friends and as an adult, is a little depressing to say the very least. I'm about to turn 25 in a couple of months and I have zero idea how my celebrations is going to play out lol. Hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration regardless 🤍🌼🌿🐼

I would do a “money piece” In the front and let your hair grow out (if you want to go that route) also a few hi lights on the sides so it looks like an intentional balayage. I am a stylist and have done that to my hair so I could get it healthier and it looked really good.

Those primark shoes were adorable! If you're keeping them, I'd style them with a white tee and sweatervest or a cute sweathirt and mom jeans. Or a sundress when it warms up a bit more!

I had chronic insomnia for years, and some other health issues. Never went to a doc or got bloodwork since I was a kid. Went recently and my sugar was super high, and I am diabetic :-/ It sucks but I feel so much better physically now that I have it under control. I hope the docs can figure out what you need!

I just watched a part in which you talk about getting your hair redone and I thought I'd write this - have you ever thought of doing a few pink and purple highlights here and there? Like not dying your whole hair pink or purple, but just bits of it - I feel like it would really suit you and your personality!!! I am the same way with getting blood drawn lol, I love tattoos and piercings (just got my first tattoo recently!) but I just don't like getting blood drawn or shots or anything like that. I have a fear of needles in general, but with tattoos and piercings at least I get something cool out of it and it's actually my choice to do it. I've had some IVs hurt more than any of my piercings or tattoos have and if an IV hurts more than that then the doctor is doing something wrong lol. I love your videos and happy birthday!

You don't have to shut down a laptop or a computer. Don't keep them plugged into power all the time. But there is no need to shut down a computer everyday.

Hey Jodie with your hair try and only wash it twice a week as over washing will cause more breakage and loss of hair. Also using a decent overnight conditioning mask for your hair will do it some good. Have a chat with your hairdresser about nourishing shampoos etc. There is a brand called Prose online who do custom hair products and if you want I have a link that will give you 50% off first order, I saw it on another channel.

Are you an introvert? I am, and i don't like attention directed at me, and that's basically what birthdays are, lol. So maybe deep down, even though it's positive, birthdays give you anxiety because you are being directly acknowledged and addressed?
