My most favorite thing to do as soon as I hear of any summer thunder storm weather reports in my area. I grab whatever book I'm reading at the time. I find a comfy spot & love listening to the thunder while reading a good book. Plus I cheer every time I hear thunder that God is bowling strikes up in heaven!

lavender matcha!! highly recommend. i don't know how to go about it at home, but i used to work at a cafe and we would steep lavender sprigs in hot simple syrup mixture, and let that cool and use that :)

Matcha with hazelnut! It tastes like taro milk tea imo. My Starbucks order used to be a grande iced soy matcha tea latte with a pump of hazelnut 🤤

I was diagnosed with celiac at the beginning of 2021 and my recovery took a few years. It wasn’t until this year that I’ve felt more like I felt before my health started taking a dive in 2019. It also caused dryness in my mouth and eyes, especially my tear glands. I also needed some vitamin shots and iron infusion to help by body really start recovering. Autoimmune diseases really take a lot out of you. I feel sick when I drink an iced latte now too so I haven’t been drinking coffee as much as I did before all of my health stud started.

I also have autoimmune issues + chronic vascular insufficiency since getting sick last year. the random flare ups are awful as they give me the worst anxiety, especially when rashes are involved! yesss matcha is so good! i love starberry or peach matcha for the spring/summer and i do lattes in the fall/winter. matcha is so much better for you though, healthier caffeine levels, has antioxidants, helps your digestion & boosts your metabolism!

I love vanilla matcha! The vanilla adds some sweetness and it's so good. I like it more hot than iceed. Also, if I'm feeling fruity, I add some raspberry to the vanilla matcha. I can't wait to scroll the comments for more matcha recipes.

i listened to the audiobook of rebecca serle’s other book one italian summer and loved it sm! especially since it was narrated by lauren graham (aka lorelai gilmore from gilmore girls!! 🤍) the atmosphere was so immersive and the writing was so beautiful and emotional, i hope you love expiration dates! x
