just to clarify again, I’m not faking an accent. I might speak differently than you’re used to but India is HUGE not everyone sounds the same. This is how I’ve grown up speaking and it’s how everyone around me speaks and it’s sounds pretty normal to me tbh. I couldn’t possibly fake an accent 24/7 for so many years.
I'm from New York (Brooklyn - Bed - Stuy) and you could tell your accent is legit but I love it, you don't frequently here it around here. Keep doing you and just live your best life 🤗.

Your accent might be a result of many things that I know nothing about. You’re doing great and I’m sorry. More power to you girl.
I’m indian but have been born and raised in America. I think the reason why people think your accent is fake is because Indians in media are stereotyped and faked. Most Indian accents on western media are completely fake. So when hearing these, your authentic accent comes off as different.
