As a quadriplegic, I can't just decide to head out. Everything takes planning and preparation. Resources: Web: www.joelvm.com Blog: trainmanj.blogspot.com/ Twitter: / iaquadlife Facebook: / the-quad-life
You are right going anywhere now is a challenge. I really did not go anywhere for a couple months except for getting my tubing changed and it was really different there now because of the Corona virus. I am at high risk of getting any kind of respiratory related infections too so they made sure I had no one in the waiting room when I went through it and I had my mask put on me before we left home. Wearing the mask is a challenge too because you cannot do anything with your mouth and chin with it on but like you said we have to do this now to protect ourselves and other people. I will say that when I get back home now from my medical appointment once a month I feel like I have accomplished something big because of the extra work it takes to get me there now. You stay safe and thanks for the help with your videos.
The Quad Life ok, thanks for your response. That’s what I was thinking. Jessica has a tendency to lean over to her left while sitting in her chair. I have been adjusting stuff for it but never thought of a strap over her shoulder! Thanks for another great idea!
